The truck was not clean and it was not ready for me to pick up when I arrived. The lady at the register kept pushing to get the additional insurance when I stated I did not need it. The truck was covered by dents but they still charge me for insurance, so whats does it do when the product is completely damaged? I will not be going to this location again.

Maybe make it easier to reach someone that actually works at the site - for various reasons - prior to and during my rental period I had questions and/or concerns and always spoke to someone different at other locations who would have to sorta guess what to tell me. I received a different answer for the same question. But it all ended up going quite smoothly and each person was very courteous

Waited 15 minutes just to talk to someone there. The truck I ordered wasn't there. After arguing for 30 minutes they gave me a filthy pick-up truck instead of my 10 foot truck. Had to move in 4 trips instead of 1. Had to pay the movers for additional time because my reservation was an hour late. Will NEVER use them again.

The truck was way below par. 89700 miles on it, and I did not feel safe driving it. The driver door did not close properly and therefor was very loud. The interior dome light did not turn and on, and in turn there was no light in the cargo area, which was very inconvenient considering we completed our move after dark. The radio did not function properly as there was only one working speaker on the passenger side. The truck had manual crank windows, and the driver side crank was broken. The previous day I rented a van from Uhaul that had less than 9000 miles on it, that was a very nice vehicle. I believe you're putting customers at risk by extending the useful life of a vehicle to turn a bigger profit.

The reservation system must have been having a server issue, as it was extremely slow and took me over an hour before the server functioned properly. Once it came back up it was fine.



I want to start by saying that the customer service was satisfactory and that this is more of a big picture complaint. First off, I was only offered the 14.95 insurance which I found out later did not cover roof damage. I do understand it's my option to purchase or not purchase the insurance and take responsibility. With that said, I have driven maybe two of these types of vehicles in my entire life. What was meant to be a money saver has turned into a very expensive trip. What happened was I drove the truck into a parking structure that had a low clearance. Now keep in mind I would have never done this sort of thing if I have had more experience driving these types of trucks. What would have really helped was some kind of warning before I drove off. If the man working would have given me a caveat in not taking the insurance that there is an extra high roof and that the blind spots are very difficult to navigate. This is a law suit waiting to happen. They just assumed that I knew exactly what I was doing and that I had done this a million times before. This is absurd. And also, why not make the insurance mandatory. It's only 20 extra dollars. Just build it into the price. Instead you're going to allow people who never drive these things use them at their own discretion? Non of this makes sense... And please don't pawn it off to my insurance company. My deductible is too high and I understand that isn't your fault. But I feel like there needs to be some reform in your policies here. Your companie's lack of concern for the customer just cost me $350 which is food for a whole month. I do understand this is a lesson I must learn for myself but at the same token there were things about my experience that could have been much better. Also, Uhaul debited $400 out of my account without my authorization. That is completely unreasonable. A man called me letting me know what they had discovered and then gave me an arbitrary estimate on the price and told me he will call me back after he spoke with his supervisor. But all I got was a receipt. This is completely unethical. I'm happy to pay for rental but I will not be happy paying the full amount of the damage. Keith
