The agent didn't have time for my safety related debrief, instructed me to shove the paperwork under the office door, as she had to get to the bank before it closed. It would appear there are staffing and oversight issues with this location.

Only one person in the office so when I came back to return my trailer the office was closed while the employee went to the bank. Not a big deal just a minor annoyance.

1. Trailer I reserved was not available. 2. Pick up location was changed without being notified. 3. New pick up location didn’t have the blankets I reserved. 4. Attendant at pick up location didn’t even leave the office to confirm equipment condition or trailer lights.

we felt that the person helping us should know how to use the uhaul equipment. we weren't sure how to take the car off of the auto trailer and the person had absolutely no knowledge of how to do it

the young lady at the site was very nice but her second day there and had not been trained on how to hook up the trailer. She clearly was a team player as she made several phone calls to try and get things right. Computer couldn't connect to Haul data base so unable to accommodate my drop-off site. Unable to print receipt either.Trailer was fine and ready to go.Was told after a phone call there that I could drop the trailer at location of choice but, 4 hours later a text message assigned me to distant site.

I like the Harper location but was mad after going to the 3rd location with having a reservation on my card and they gave my truck away to the person in front of me in line...and that was at the Holland location at Antonio's locksmith location...which made me go to a farther location

I was charged another day for returning 1 hour 30 mins late. Do you guys understand when we are working we might not be looking at the time? This is not acceptable. Plus the person who checked me out was rude and was also cussing over the phone with on other customer and complaining that her computer wasn't working. Thank you though that the truck worked and that the previous person earlier let us use a trolly.

Service was excellent, even though the truck was scheduled to be rented to another person early the next morning they allowed me to rent the truck and return it within 4 hours. Greatly appreciated it.

Very poor rental experience. I have rented from U-Haul on multiple occasions and have always been generally satisfied. I had reserved my trailer at a location that I previously rented (VA. Beach Blvd in VA Beach) and was "reassigned" when the reservation from uhaul was confirmed a day before rental. Prime Storage should not be allowed to rent u-haul products without a person on premises who knows how to connect and operate equipment to assure equipment is properly hooked up (trailers) and in good working order. We completed our paperwork with the clerk and she pointed down to the end of the yard and said your trailer is down there. NO OFFER to assist or assure we connected correctly. The trailer was missing the electrical plug extension and I had to go to the other end of the lot to take one from another trailer. Not being experienced with trailers and towing, I did not connect the hitch securely and was fairly sure I had not. I stopped at the Virginia Beach VBlvd store and the manager there assisted me in getting the chains attached correctly and the hitch ball tightened. This could have been a disaster if I had not stopped and gotten assistance from someone who knew what they were doing. My advice..DO NOT RENT from this location. Unfortunately, reading the reviews from this location, this is not the first time this type of poor service is identified......U-HAUL you should notice and react to these multiple concerns over several months!

It needs to be more clear on the website reservation about four hour rentals vs daily rentals.

Maybe 30 to 40 U-haul rentals. First time I had to hitch up by myself. Not even a safety/light check. Trailer had broken door equipment. I opened to inspect, and door jammed open. Took a pry bar and a large screwdriver to get it free. Left with it still jammed open because location didn't have personnel or tools to deal with it. Unable/unwilling to deal with it, and unwilling to change trailers. When I finally got it unjammed, it took two people to lower it to fully closed. But then couldn't latch it down, because the handle was past the detent and would not return past it without a hammer. Experienced the same equipment problem twice more over the weekend. UNSATISFACTORY! When I got back to return it at the specified place and time of 2:30 pm - (I was a few minutes early), there was a sign on the door saying back at 1:45 - and nobody around. At 2:40, I decided to drop the trailer and leave. Then someone came running out saying "Not there, over there" Was sure glad to get away from that location, and hope I hear from U-haul. This was my first bad experience with U-haul, and I hope my last, because I still need to continue business with them, just never again with this terrible location.

Overcharged me for the u-haul. I'm still waiting on them to refund the pending authorization on my card. When I went to rent the uhaul, I had to wait over 30 minutes for a customer service representative. I will never rent with u haul again.

the people and place at the location were extremely helpful. But since someone was there to checkout the truck before I turned it in due to us running behind it makes me question u-hauls maintence and scheduling procedures. We just drove this vehicle 2800 miles and it’s already being rented out without being looked over and was scheduled to be picked up the minute it was turned in. Both pickup and drop off locations and staff were very helpful and friendly. But I now question the state of the vehicles mechanically.
