Upon arrival, there was good customer service, however: One of the front tires needed air. The gas tank was below empty. The driver's seat was stuck in one spot and I could not adjust it to move closer to the steering wheel. All-in-all, vehicle was sub-par. This place was impossible to call ahead of time to confirm the truck was there.

I only put 4 miles on the truck and refueled with 2 gal of gas. 2 gallons is more than enough. I took pictures of cluster when I picked it up and dropped it off. When i picked it up nobody came out to go over the trucks condition and gas milage. Also the air conditioning did not work on the truck. This morning when I dropped it of the lady did not go over the trucks condition and milage with me and when I told her that A/C did nit work, all she said is “ok”. No sorry , no thank you, and now she charged me $7.88 for 1.5 gal of gas. Although its a small amount, I don’t think I should be paying for it. I’m sorry to say but customer service was terrible. They should be smiling, and at least properly greeting people. She didn’t even say hello or good morning. FYI, analog fuel gauges are never exact. The gauge may fluctuate depending on vehicle’s position at that time. I hope the management will change some things to ensure that you’ll start getting less bad rating as i can see you have alot of them. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone

except other methods of payment because everyone does not have a credit card, so something needs like discussion or some type of agreement needs to be spoken on for those who don't own credit cards or except certain payment cards. so that way the ones that can't rent a truck under their name because they have no credit card or what ever paymentmethod they have you don't except, and other people won't be on the hook of a vehicle that they didn't use, but had to get it for a friend or family member that needed to rent the truck and could not.

This location 40 miles from my home and the closest location the tow dolly we available. I spoke with 5 different Uhaul employees trying to get this piece of equipment.

The windows were very dirty and the back was not swept! The truck that ws given to me is about to break down. The transmission was not changin gears and when it did it jerked the car. This is a hazard and dangerous to your customers. Please don;t rent this truck out any more because we could have gotten very bad whiplash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I would never recommend to any one. In fact I will never rent from uhaul anymore because of this experience!

Had problems getting in touch with customer service. Tried calling and was waiting for over 10 min. Gave up. I tried live chat and same thing no one ever came on. So gave up on that also. I needed the rental longer but since no one answered I returned it. Need a customer service agent to answer calls and live chat in a reasonable amount of time. Very poor customer service . I am not sure if I will be using uhaul again.

Over charged and they never answer their phones. I only used two miles and they charged me for 14. I denied safety coverage and they are still charging me. Worst experience ever

I used the self pick up option for the first time, and had it not been for an employee of the oil change place that was there before they opened I never would have gotten my rental. The code that unlocked the lock box with my keys wouldn’t open thanks to the code from the U-Haul app not matching what the actual code was. The employee that happened to be there was able to tell me the code and I was able to get the keys, but not before wasting almost 45 minutes of my time with the truck. Also the contact number given for if the code didn’t work never returned my call. I was less than happy with the self pick up and probably would never do that again. That said the truck worked fine and I had no issues beyond checking in.

left with 1/4 tank of gas and returned with 1/4 tank...they said it was 5/16 and charged me $8.00 more and said it was u-haul not them....who can possibly know exactly what the gauage read and I only drove approx. 50 miles and put in $13.00 dollars which is 4 gals... that equates to 12.5 miles per gallon if you add another 2.5 gallons you get 7.6 miles per gallon...I was ripped off

The truck was new, clean and ran perfectly. It had a lot of power so moving a full truck from Vista to Sacramento was no problem. The truck even had a new Master lock inside to lock up the back. A good experience and the guys in the shop were friendly and helpful.

Make sure the systems are working. Staff was nice and helpful, but they had to call corporate and get walked thru the rental process, a 15-30 minute process took over and hour. Truck leaked water inside and onto our furniture and because it was freezing outside blankets froze to our furniture. Truck needs to be better maintained.

Only issue I had with Uhaul is not the pick up or drop off locations. It was with Uhaul computers. Both pick up and drop off places rocked it dealing with your crappy system.

The truck wouldn't come out of overdrive..sterring box gone . People doing paperwork not on there game. I was supposed to get a call from the mechanic regarding the mileage . I didn't drive 43 miles and was charged for the extra. Put 20.00 in fuel. I burned way too much fuel due to the engine always stuck in what seemed like 2nd gear. Only had the truck for approximately 2.5 hours. 79.00 dollars for a dangerous driving vehicle is ridiculous.. I would like a call from someone in management to discuss the bad experience.... 760 -521-6999
