We had to go to 3 different places to get the truck turned in. the first place was just for supplies, second was closed and turned in to the third place.

Made a reservation for 9am, arrived on time and waited in line for 40 minutes. I was the next person in line when the system went down. Waited 10 more minutes thinking they were having a hard time with the customer. The man working didn't tell anyone in line that the system went down! We waited 15 more minutes hoping it would come back up but it didn't. My main problem with this is I had hired movers to meet me at 10:30am. Because no one let us know the system was down and we waited so long, I had to reschedule the movers, wasting their time and my money. Now the move that was only to take up most of the morning and some of the afternoon became a day long process. And I was only moving a one bedroom apartment. I will only ever use uhaul again as a last resort. Customer service was nice enough though.

When I arrived, I was not greeted in a friendly manner. After the gentleman got my payment information he put boxes I had bought in the back of the U-Haul truck and walked away. I had to walk back inside to ask for the keys. He did not do a walk around with me or go over any information on the truck. The trucked I received was out of alignment, dirty with pet hair fro the previous driver, and the high beams did not work. When I went back to get the trailer to tow my vehicle, I was once again not greeted. Two gentleman were talking back and forth about oil and I had to stand and wait five minutes to be acknowledged. The gentleman that hooked up the trailer onto the U-Haul did not explain anything as to how I should drive (speed limit) or how he was securing my vehicle onto the trailer. Had it not been for the 55 MPH sign on the trailer, I would have not known to go that slow. I called the 1800 number to make a complaint, and the lady was extremely rude and told me I just needed to take the truck back and ask for another one. That was not an option. I will have a hard time renting from U-Haul again. I spent $350.00 and did not receive what I paid for. Had it not have been an emergency and a dire need to leave immediately with all of our housing items, I would have immediately asked for a refund and went somewhere else.
