We were charged twice for the rental fee and the insurance. We only rented the truck for approximately 5 hours and it was picked up and returned on the same day. I have emailed and now called U-Haul twice to get this resolved. So far, nothing has been changed. And now having placed my second call I am told they have no complaint on file, despite placing a call yesterday and sending an email. This is terrible service. The people at the location were very nice. I am told the billing issue is another department which is terrible to deal with.

Truck was covered in snow...had to clean it off. Gas gauge said full, but only went 10 miles and it took 7.5 gallons gas. Engine light came on during rental. Return service was less than helpful.

We picked up the vehicle in the morning before the location was open with you app. The app stated that the vehicle had 1/4 tank of gas and when we looked the the fuel level the gauge read on empty. This was VERY inconvenient as we had to drive (and put extra mileage on the vehicle) to find a gas station opened at 5:30 am and a weekend morning to fuel the vehicle before we could start using it.

Never went inside. I normally return equipment after location is closed. This time returned during normal business hours. Return rep required me to stay & help him check all vehicle lights, etc. Now am knowledgeable that this is done which is good thing. But if I don't have to do this after hours, should be done by Uhaul employees, not customer, during normal business hours. Told him cargo door was far too difficult to pull down. he never noted. If my daughter had rented this herself, she would never have been able to close.

Make sure your systems are up to date. I reserved (and needed) 2 furniture dollies, however when i showed up the location only had 1 in stock, because the inventory system isn't working correctly.

Explain that the client needs to present a credit card or pay for the vehicle at the pickup location, that a credit card on file for the reservation will not be used at the pickup location. I called this pickup location on Saturday, Nov 11, 2017 @ 2:12 (860-953-6138) to ensure that another person could pick up the vehicle and the card on my profile would be used. I was informed that only two forms of ID were required and that the card on file could be used. We were Surprised to say the least when arriving on Tuesday, Nov 14 @ 8:30 to find our that this was not the case. Cash was used to secure the truck. Also, the vehicle was skipping and not in tune. It drove extremely rough and did not work properly uphill's. I spent $100.00 on fuel to ensure that I had enough gas for the entire trip. I hope these issues will be resolved...Thank you

Unfortunately I did not double check the mileage when I left the facility and felt that what was listed on my paperwork was actually a lower number of starting mileage, therefore indicating I drove more than I actually did. I suggest that a UHAUL employee comes out to the vehicle to review it with the customer the way employees do at car rental places. Or perhaps they can offer the suggestion to have the renter review the mileage before leaving the facility.
