Customer Reviews

Overstocked had a hard time dropping it off.

You shouldn't tell the customer one thing and then do something else. I called and told them (4 hours in advance) that we were running behind with our truck and they told me I wouldn't be charged for the extra hour and the truck wasn't scheduled to be rented out until 7 am the next day anyways. Then they charged me AN ENTIRE extra day for ONE hour. That doubled the rental fee, the insurance fee, and I was charged for 24 blankets when my truck had 6. All around bad business.

Took days two days to get my truck checked in after I dropped it off. Had to call 3 times before it got finalized.

Worst customer service. We waited 20 minutes for someone to help us and we had a reservation. Took over 35 mini before we were on the road and we did express checkout.

1. I only drove the truck 2 miles as I was moving a couch in my neighborhood. When I was going to return the truck I remembered the harsh penalties for not bringing it back full of gas. When I went to fill it up, it took almost $6.00 to fill it up. I brought the receipt to the store to show them. The manager, Jessica Rodrigues was very unpleasant and did not believe me that the receipt for gas was for this transaction, but that I could have gotten it from anywhere. She then argued with me that I signed off on the truck being full. Either the gauge was faulty, or they did not confirm that the previous renter actually filled the truck or only brought it up to the leading edge of the full indicator. Either way, it was not my fault. When I took the truck, Jessica assured me that it was full and that I was to bring it back that way. Trying to be an honest person, I went to the gas station to replace the gas I used. I asked if she could compensate me $4.00 of the $5.64 I paid (2 1/2 gallons). She said she could only give me back $2.00 and kept blaming me for not only putting back 2 miles worth of gas. 2. I was not able to park at the site, but had to leave my car overnight on a side street in a not very good neighborhood. 3. when I first signed up for the truck, I saw a sign saying there was a mid-week discount and asked her about it. She then asked a man working there what the rate for mid-week was and he said $.69 per mile. When she gave me the paperwork it said $.79. I asked her about this and she assured me it would change when I actually was paying upon returned the truck. It wasn't. It's not a big deal for only 2 miles, but it's the principle. Had I drove farther, it would have added up. 4. when I took out the truck I wasn't sure if I would just be moving this couch or if I was going to get some other things on Craigslist. Originally she offered me the truck for a couple of hours. I asked her if the rate would change if I had it overnight. She said no, and there were plenty of other truck available for other renters. She then agreed to let me have it overnight. When i brought the truck back there was another person renting. Jessica asked her if she would like to bring it back the same day or the next, even though she was taking it out earlier in the day than I did. Overall it was not a good experience for me. For the gain of $2.00 you have lost a customer, and possibly others. I will not use this location again. I will pay more to go a little farther with a different company.

This location is VERY small and hard to maneuver around in the parking area. They definitely could use a bigger place.

It was not made clear with multiple opportunities that the moving truck that I rented didn't have a ramp. When I returned the truck it was then when I was told by Daniel Wilson that it was typically women that had these problems. Left there feeling very insulted and disappointed on the level of professionalism.

Just wanted to compliment the staff, especially Justin. He was friendly, courteous, and very efficient.

Cut down the paperwork process.

I specifically told the agent that I needed it for 2 days he charged me $57 for 1 day so I was charged an extra day when I took it to 76th and York where she told me they would credit the gas I put in and didn't even credit so I paid $120 for a day and a half what happened to $29.99 deal that was no deal I feel like I got ripped off

Noce, and professional employees.

This location was great and provided us with a well deserved discount and service for uhauls ineptitude. I won't use uhaul again because we never even got the truck we originally ordered and scheduling was terrible service. This location went out of their way to do the best they could.

Nicole S. on

This is the absolute worse experience with Uhaul I have ever had. They didn't have the truck we reserved the morning of pick up. They then moved our pick up location and gave us a smaller truck size. Not only did this cause us to double the miles due to taking two trips, we also had to use a different drop off location. When calling customer service, we were quoted one small fee to change the drop off location - that was a complete lie. The fee that was charged was close to 10x the amount told to us. We still have not received a phone call back disputing this charge. HORRIBLE customer service and will never use them/recommend Uhaul again.

The vehicle made enough noise as to be a nuisance. I indicated to the employee afterwards had I needed to drive the vehicle for 200 miles - please shoot me first. I had rented enough vehicles to know this vehicle did not meet expectations for me or any other customer. On a scale of 1 > 5 this experience garnered a -5. You can and have done much better and you let your standards falter.

Have a place or way to lock up trailers for after hours drop off, would be smart.

The lot this is on has little to no parking.

Aaron H. on

Nothing ;) thank you!

Horrible, I would rather buy a truck then rent from you any uhal location ever again. Worst experience of my life. The location and "traffic" do not communicate, it is so unprofessional and the customer service agent at the desk was obviously high as kite on god knows what drugs.

I could not get in the parking lot because the lot was full of equipment.I had to drive around the block while my wife went in the office to get someone to move some of the trucks so I could get off of a very busy street. And my 5x8 trailer had a broken door cable if anyone is interested. Very poor experience

The employees at this location did not honor the price I reserved the truck for online or the fact that I booked it with pick up and drop off at the same location. They both increased my price and forced me to drop the truck off at a different location, which was a huge inconvenience due to the fact that I was moving on my own and left my car at the location where I picked up the truck. The manager Jessica said she would call customer service that day to get me a discount for the inconvenience, and I never heard back from her. I would seriously not recommend this location.

Lines were long and cashiers seemed confused about how to process transactions.
