Actually fell off the truck and broke my leg before loading, never used but it was a couple of days before I could get it back. Staff only charged as a local.

I had a 2 reservation and they were out to lunch and I had to wait till 2:20 to pick up my trailer and did not get out of there till 2:45. This put my travels 45 minutes behind.

Customer service was satisfactory, no issue there. The truck had a bad fluid leak and the check engine light came on after approximately 10 miles. I was apprehensive to drive the truck as it had a bad wobble while driving over 45mph.

Didn’t have blankets I ordered. Was a backup pickup site since my original guaranteed pickup called at 7:00 am to send me to another pickup site 35 miles away in the wrong direction. Said that since I moved my pickup time back 30 minutes (as a courtesy to the site) my reservation was no longer good. I am very unhappy with the process and unfairly changed pickup site so cancelled (again as a curtesy) and rebooked from Enterprise Drive.

Put a jack on your trailers! When you have to drop them off the tongue weight is to heavy. I hurt my back trying to get it off the back of my truck! Poor idea, cannot always have help. Made an otherwise great experience tarnished.

Ensure the equipment and trucks are free of extreme damage like fuel saving skirts, leaving truck cab and storage area. The personnel were great though. Also, 20 minutes before my pick up time and the first location given, I received a phone call that I'd have to drive 30 minutes further to pick up my rentals for some reason or another which threw my whole plan for the day off.


Like some car rental companies, U-Haul should have the customer initial beside the starting mileage on the agreement while viewing the actual odometer. There was a discrepancy of 12 miles between the document and the odometer, and the staff made the correction using the proper authorized process to my satisfaction.

Too expensive. Paying a rental fee and then paying 99 cents per mile on top of that is not reasonable. Your advertising the truck for $39 a day is actually misleading. You can only get the truck for $39 if you do not move it. Next time I'll have to plan a little better and shop around.

I was initially assigned another pick-up location 5811 Market Street, which was closer to my apartment. Dave from this location, called me the day before to confirm my pick-up with this location. I was totally confused. I was promised an additional 20 miles because I had to travel farther than my scheduled location. Next, I was told by a customer service agent that if I did not return my rental to the address on the contract (told by Dave I could return it to Greenlawn, which was closer to my location) I would be charged an outrageous amount for returning the rental to another location. I spent hours on the phone given the run around. And I am deeply discouraged from using UHAUL ever again or referring it to anyone I know. Suggestion: Do not hire individuals who will not do their jobs and are fine with inadequate service. Just telling customers anything to get then off of the phone. Thank you.

After U-Haul moved my pick up location from what should have been 5 min. away from my confirmed pickup location and caused me to travel 45 min to pick a trailer the pickup location was very uncourteous. The customer service was horrible. They are more worried about reports than their customers. I would never use U-Haul or this dealer again.
