Do not promise a free month of storage if you cannot produce it. This location indicated they were not a U-haul location that was subject to the promise. I looked and even the U-haul service centers 50+ miles away had no storage available.

I paid in advance. It turned out that I should have paid when I picked up the trailer. The Uhaul system requires a drivers licence and credit card that has not been used. Since I used my credit card, I had to provide a personal contact and this required multiple steps and about 10 extra minutes of computer work to pick up the trailer. I recommend that you post on your website the problems created when you pay in advance.

The gentlemen behind the counter and the entire office, smells like an ash tray. And the gentlemen behind the counter, despite his protestation otherwise, is being racist when he tells his other customers that if they are in the US they hafta speak English.

It was late at night and the gate was open. It wasn't clear to me whether I should park inside the gate or on the street -- far from the box because the street was already full. The sign (which was blocked by the gate) said not to block the gate, but it didn't say not to park inside the gate of if it was OK to park inside the gate.

Uhaul screwed up bad on my reservation by not honoring it because they ran out of trucks. I went to this location for help and they went above and beyond to help me out. They saved the day and I am extremely grateful to them.

I found it odd that even though I had checked in online, his computer system was not populated with all the fields I had filled-in online. He does not keep a stock of Uhaul trucks. Only gets trucks per order (he has no room to keep truck inventory. Does that make any difference in what information Uhaul shares with him? I was a little disappointed that even though I had requested a dozen moving blankets, when I picked up the truck, he related to me that Uhaul hadn't provided the reserved blanket inventory. He was going to send me to a different Uhaul location to get them. What's the point of promising supplies if Uhaul isn't going to honor them. Not having the moving blankets would have really compromised the furniture in my move. Fortunately, he had a few to give me. I was able to make do.

Have a sign in the truck/trailer parking/storage area next door indicating that the U-haul office is near the storage area facility gate. The people living next door would probably appreciate it. Otherwise, renting the truck from 'Mike' was a breeze.

This location made it clear that they were not a real U haul, fully supplied center and did not have electrical connector adapters etc. That said, they did well with what they had.

He was just not professional. Complaining of other location. Also, as soon as I got there he said he was going to charge me $50 extra so he could get something out of the deal????

First, the phone number to this location has been disconnected. When I called U-Haul, they were surprised that the number has been disconnected. Second, they inputted my home phone number wrong, and I never got a confirmation call. Third, I had requested a 20 foot truck, but had to settle for a 15 foot truck, which DID NOT hold all our boxes and furniture. Third, the truck, while the inside was clean, the windshield was not. It was spattered with bugs and dirty. Fourth, the guy who was handling the paperwork was rude and surly.
