I had a really bad rental experience this time with U-Haul that may or may not have had anything to do with this location. I used the online rental site to arrange rental for a 5x9 utility trailer with ramp so that I could haul a piano. After reserving the trailer, filling out all the paperwork online, and then making arrangements for help with loading the piano and getting a dolly so I could use the trailer ramp, I received a call from U-Haul saying that the trailer I reserved was not available in my town, which has several U-Haul locations. Really? Why didn't they tell me that as I was making the reservation rather than waiting several hours? They offered an alternative which had no ramp, so I had to scramble to find more help in order to lift the piano into a trailer with no ramp. When I arrived at the pickup location, I noticed that they had several of the trailers, at least 6, that I had originally reserved but they told me that they were all out of service except for one which they keep for local rentals, while my rental was one-way. As I prepared to leave the facility I asked about where I could drop off the trailer at my destination, which has many U-Haul locations. Since everything had been done online, there was no written contract as such, just an email on my phone, so I was told to call a certain number upon arrival and they would tell me where to take the trailer for dropoff. I did as they asked, but was told by the operator to take the trailer to a location that would have required at least an hour round trip to drive, unless city traffic was bad and then more than an hour. I pointed out that there were several U-Haul locations nearby but they insisted that I take it to the preferred location, which was the absolute farthest away from me! I continued to argue but was then finally told that, if I wanted, I could personally call other U-Haul locations in town to see if they would take the trailer. That should be U-Haul's job, not mine, since I am the customer and I am paying for their service. Subsequently, I spent over an hour on the phone calling multiple locations and the regional office in order to finally find a sympathetic site manager, to whom I am very grateful, who agreed to take the trailer even though he did not need it. In other words, this entire process was at U-Haul's convenience, not mine. They processed my request for a trailer and then did not have it when I needed it, and they wanted me to drop off the trailer at a location where they needed the trailer in inventory, even though it was miles away from where I was located and with several locations nearby. They wanted me, the customer, to position their trailer for them. The fine print on the electronic contract requires the customer to deliver the trailer to the agreed location, but there is nowhere on the contract that specifies the agreed location. Similar to what I stated above, the drop off was a little confusing since there was no one to indicate where I should go and there was other equipment in the drop-off location. A few U-Haul workers were walking around but no one indicated if I was even in the correct area. A quick hand signal or "I'll be right with you" would be appreciated.

I worked directly with the General Manager, who was great and had all the information I needed. She also was very speedy in both the rental and return processes. Plus, the equipment (a van) was perfect for our needs, and it was so nice to drive a nice, comfortable vehicle with plenty of power. Kudos to the general manager at this location!

Separate line for people only buying supplies. Prior to my rental I bought some packaging supplies and had to wait in line with people renting which took a while. Also, maybe combine this purchasing supply line with people who do the prior online express check in..

The truck that I rented had far less gas in it than the paperwork indicated. I should have checked that before leaving, but it never entered my mind to think that would occur, so I was several blocks away by the time I noticed and did not have time to return. I put in $25 of gas in an effort to get it back up to the level where it had never been, and still had to be charged $17 in refueling fees. So just trusting that there would be honesty ultimately cost me about $42.00. I should have thought to look, but come on, don't take advantage of your customers like that.

They lost the keys to my rental and delayed me over an hour. Would not get me a larger truck, and tried to push a cargo van on me. Only thing that saved them was a customer came back with a truck that the keys to mine were left in.

I rented a 5×8 trailer to move my son's stuff to college. Rented it in Yakima, wa. towed it to Lacey, wa. Would sure be nice to return the trailer in Lacey, wa.,than have tow it clear back to Yakima, wa.,empty. Other than that it worked great, will be renting again after college to move back home

Although the location and truck was nice. The truck was given to us 1/8 of a tank and not 1/4 as it was supposed to be! I also didn't appreciate the fact that when I reserved the rental online my total was $35.00. When I went to pick it up the price changed to $50.00 and then when I dropped it off, the price jumped to $70.00.
