I was told to buy a particular wiring kit for my car and it turned out to be one that needed to be spliced in to the system instead of the quick connect version. This problem cost me lost time and more money for installation that could have been avoided.

Picking up equipment was fast and easy. The only comment I have would be that the after hour drop off was not explained in enough detail and I did not realize I would need to check in online and take pictures of inside truck until I had already dropped key in the lockbox. I had to improvise.

The people who worked there were very nice. However, it was pretty disorganized. I ordered a dolly & furniture pads and was told they would be in the back of the truck, but they weren't. The person who brought the truck out didn't know where the emergency break was and also couldn't tell me how to move the side mirrors. It took quite awhile to get everything set so I could leave. Then, I was charged (and paid) the fee, but later when I checked my receipt I saw that there was an additional ($20) charge added later that wasn't explained. I had also been told that if I didn't use the furniture pads I wouldn't be charged for them, but I was. I sent an email asking for an explanation of the charges and reimbursement of at least the charge for the furniture pads, if not the extra charge that was added after the fact. At this point I have not heard any response. If this matter is cleared up I would probably change my mind as to whether I would recommend this location to a friend.

Counter staff was very helpful and store was clean and well stocked. The truck was clean and reliable. Staff responsible for mileage and fuel level confirmation seemed to need more training.

I reserved s pack of 6 moving pads in case I needed them. They were in the truck but I never unwrapped the sealed bag or needed the pads. Why does U-haul charge for the pads when clearly the franchise had no wait list and/ or shortage of pads the day I rented my vehicle. Seems like an unnecessary usage charge for not using the pads. I have been a long time U-haul fan and customer but petty charges such as these are disappointing.. As a business owner myself I feel that good decisions between owners and customers bring geometric revenue increases to the business owner. The staff managing the counter did not handle the situation to my satisfaction. $5 dollars?? I would always decide in the favor of my customer over a $5 charge since that customer will bring me a good volume of repeat business and referrals in the future. Thank you.

Customer service was very harsh - not pleasant at all. I was told that I had to bring the equipment back clean, but when they opened the back it was full of snow and ice which they couldn't get out, but I was TOLD again that I had to bring it back clean. I checked in online to cut down on the time it took to pick up the truck, but when I got there I first had to wait for a new employee to clock in, then I had to go through the whole check in again! Plus this was the first time this employee had done this so it took even longer. Overall, the employees were all very harsh when speaking to the customer. Doubtful we will use this Uhaul store again; we usually rent from them at least 3 times a year.

I was not allowed to rent a 5x10 trailer for my one-way trip. Forced to go with a 6x12. More expensive and harder to tow. Not pleased.

Everything was great except when we got there they said our reservation was cancelled because we didn't pick up at 9 am....but I told the person on the phone we would pick up between 10:30 and 11 Thankfully the trailer was still there!

I will always think of U-Haul first. I think that there should be a GPS locator in the truck. I needed help and they could not find me. It all turned out ok but it would have saved us all some time.
