I have been using U-haul a long time, but this I had an issue that battery died and the van I rented wouldn't start. Luckily I was home and had completed my errands, I did call roadside assistance and they did come out and jumped started the van promptly, but my confidence about the reliability of Uhaul vehicles was shaken.

Your online reservation process is terrible. I had to call several times to get it right and the location I ended up with was miles away from another U-Haul with the truck I needed that was right around the corner. This needs a lot of work.

I made and paid for my reservation online. I arrived at the pickup location only to find that no one was there. I called the number on the door and after three attempts, I finally got a call back. The man simply said that they were closed and my reservation was transferred yo a different location. Drove out of my way to this second location only to hear that they did not have my reservation or a truck available. I was then told to go to the location on S Hamilton. All this took over an hour and a half. The location on Hamilton was severely understaffed for the amount of work scheduled. I received a call from scheduling saying that they could not get ahold of the initial pickup site and had transferred my reservation. It was a little late for a courtesy call. At no point did anyone really apologize or try to make the situation right. I was told that there are still some glitches in the 24/7 rollout. I have used uhaul for my moving needs for many years and have been a frequent customer. After all was said and done, a move that should have been 1 1/2 hours took almost 5. I feel that it would be beneficial to your company to review these processes and train your staff more throughly. With over twenty years in customer service, I would always give an unhappy customer my full attention and make fixing their problem my priority. Sadly this was not done for me in this case.

Only 2 csrs on site on a weekend was not acceptable, no gm and no asm on site to assist. I had to pull the truck to the hitch bay because the over load of returned equiptment in the return area. Had 6 people in line when we walked in, no one outside returning equiptment. I do appreciate the gentlemens assistance that did check us in quickly after the wait, wish i could have remembered his name. i didnt get to note the issues to him that i found while driving the vehicle. Just need more people on site if its the weekend.

Service at this location is not customer oriented all to often. Long waits for service whether it is vehicle rental or propane re-fills are too frequent. Employees are not customer service oriented.

I spoke with a "professional" when I booked the cargo trailer. She told me my car could accommodate a larger trailer than it could. When I arrived to pick up the larger trailer I was told she had been wrong and I couldn't get the larger one. I was quite frustrated. Agents who assist with booking must be able to provide the correct information to the person seeking assistance. The team at the Uhaul pick-up location did their best given the bad start and they were very gracious. However the lingering impression is that of the booking agent who didn't know her area and advised me incorrectly. Now I will need to make another trip because the smaller cargo trailer was insufficient for my needs. Had I known I would have a reserved a truck so that I only needed to make one trip back and forth to Pittsburgh.

The guys and gal here are great! Yes you have to wait but it's the process of renting not the people themselves. Patience is a virtue always!!! I checked in online and set the whole thing up that way. If you don't like to wait, that is the smartest, most convenient way to make things move faster. I'm sure they appreciate it as well. When I called to make the reservation for the truck the customer service representative was not friendly or inviting he was almost rude. In fact he put the phone down and I heard him tell someone else "these customers get on my nerves" I heard someone talking in the background so I assume he was in training

I was told thecwrong pickup place. The site kept adding stuff i did not want. All options shpuld start at Zero not one. Horrible exoerience!! People at the pickup had to call and find out where to Really pick up the trailer.
