The only issue I had was after I turned in my rental. I brought it back way before the time I was supposed to. But I did not use the app to return the truck. Which I was never told that I needed to do. I was charged an extra $20 for returning it early and not using the app.

Thanks to the Area Manager who refunded the $20 fee when we asked about it.

Charles EShields was easy and helpful. Shields was not the drop off location on my contract. I was contracted to drop off at Mikes Garage 596 Old Dixie Highway Vero Beach, FL. After waiting 15 + minutes for the Horrendously Mean and Angry woman to acknowledge me she stood up and said "I am not taking any 6X12 trailers on drop off take it elsewhere here is a number to call take it away." I booked this trailer weeks in advance with the drop off point clearly listed on the contract, why did Uhaul not inform me of this horrible person and her policy? When I called the 800 number I was helped finding an alternative drop off 15 minutes away. I asked for a discount because of the hassle and was told someone else would need to look at this. Are you serious??? $850 for a one day rental and to to deal with Mikes Garage is ridiculous. This needs to be fixed.

The facility was clean,but the employees were not to friendly,except for the guys working there.the guys came in off break a notice that there were a line of customers in the lobby. We could clearly hear the women in the backroom laughing and carrying on.the guy came in and started working right away.
BROWNS SNothing, the gentleman working were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We switched to larger truck when we got there and they helped pick out what was right for the job. Everything went really well.
Brian AI had originally scheduled Mike's Auto garage here in Vero. When I went to return the trailer, they said 'we are not taking anymore 6x12 trailers and you have to go somewhere else'. I looked at my contract and said, 'this is the address I scheduled drop off 1 week ago!' He didn't care and said he will call the cops on me if I did not move off the driveway. "I am only the tow truck driver, and don't deal with the Uhauls" to which I responded, 'Then why am I talking to you regarding the Uhaul trailer drop off process?" I hope Mike's Uhaul 'business' gets NO PART OF PROCEEDS from my trailer rental. Disgusting service. I then Called Shields Uhaul and he was very receptive and actually waited for me to get there to receive my trailer. Very nice attendant.

Joya RThe way uhaul monitors the fuel usage is a scam. After calculating the mileage we used, we paid way more for gas than we should have. It would be a lot easier to have the gas tank full upon rental and fill it before return instead of having to calculate 7/8s of the tank. The gauges on the trucks are also inaccurate and outdated.

MELISSA MThe attendant could not pull up my reservation. He had to create a new reservation. While doing so he charged me for the insurance which I did not want. When I returned the truck later that evening they charged me for an afterhours fee. How do you charge a fee for dropping the truck off after hours. What a ridiculous charge. The process is no different then if someone was there. What a joke. They should have an attendant that knows how to use the system.
