The truck had a leak in the roof when I picked it up, and the rental place only gave me 10 furniture pads, not the 12 I ordered. Nobody went over the truck with me and they just said “tell the people when you bring it back what happened” which is unlike any rental I’ve ever had. Worried I’ll be billed because of their incompetence.

jim nRight at the start, personal conversation (with some inappropriate language) left me ignored for 2 minutes before I was even acknowledged. No checks were done beforehand, one of the wiper blades was half off, when it started raining, the metal was scraping on the glass. There was a warning light on the dash about the gas cap being off, and when checked was in place. I was also charged twice for the $14 dollar insurance. From start to finish, the whole experience was uncomfortable and became unsafe at points when I had to rely on broken wipers to see. Will not be returning.

The back loading door was open, no safety tie on dolly, moving blanket looked dirty and used, truck bed not swept out (cigarettes, bottle cap, earring, leaves, cigarettes wrappers), truck headlight switch missing, interior was grubby to touch and emergency brake light would not go off. Truck motor worked fine, transmission fine - I’m glad to not be chartered for several scraps on truck exterior. Phone staff was live support and very helpful as the website was horrid trying to sign-in and sign on. I paid the fair amount I was charged.

dan eGive us the heads up that we couldn't pick up the equipment we rented prior to us driving 40 minutes. We got to our original location in Geneva only to be told you didn't have what what reserved. We then needed to drive another 30 minutes to Waterloo.

Christopher AWas charged twice for the rental. I was under the impression I could take it back to the store closer to me auburn ny. When I did that I was charged $200 for bringing it to that store. The store manager at that store was rude and said he refunded me but I haven’t got any refund yet.
Chris WTrailer had expired tags and the truck had something going wrong with the left front end banging noise. Did not have the covers that were ordered had to wait to get from my original place of booking to bring them.

Adtienne RI went to drop the touch off on Sunday and the link provided would not allow me to verify. I called u-haul, sat on hold for almost 45 minutes to get the most unhelpful associate on the line. I had to call this morning to close out the contract. This experience has been nothing but terribly inconvenient (the whole reason I went with U-haul). I will now drop U-haul to my last option after this experience.
WESLEYS Hlet me know before I book where it has to be picked up and dont change the drop off location on people was over an hour out of my way and the place was a major dump made me drive threw a field and ditch to pick up my trailer definitely not impressed and very unprofessional wouldn't recommend
JAMESMATTHEW TWhen we picked up the truck, I designated Hart Towing in Waterloo, NY as the drop off point as it was less than a mile from our location. While there at Hart, they had a young girl who was rude when I was trying to explain that I had designated her location as the drop off spot. We were never notified of the new drop off location. Another issue that must be addressed at pick-up is how to pay for tolls.

Gary JHad a confirmed reservation for 15 ft truck to pick up in Geneva Saturday 8 am. Got a call Friday afternoon saying truck not available - nearest truck was in Rochester an hour away. Called around and located 15 ft truck in Auburn - confirmed reservation - got a call half hour later saying truck not available. Only truck available was 10 ft in Waterloo - not really big enough to fit everything we had. A real shit show.

Judith PGot there and Randy told me that the truck was just returned and the people before me just dropped it off and ran. I went out to check the truck over and there was damage to it that was not marked off on the truck and the inside reeked of cigarette smoke. I went back inside and advised Randy of the issues and he told me that as far as the damage he could not make it off because he was out of stickers. He totally ignored the cigarette smell issue. I told hm that I did not want to be charged for any of the damages he told me I wouldn’t and that just to tell whoever that it was already there. Got told by the police that there was a reverse light out.
