ronald craigIf someone is going to run a business they should be there to do their job, and take care of the customers. When the customer calls to return the equipment they should not pressure or rush the customer to hurry because they have someone wanting to rent it. Then turn around and charge the customer double what they were told. Also, I still have no receipt for the returned equipement.

BEAU CEISNERThe dolly was in the truck and seemed as though it would shift during the trip, so I tried to lay it down, and broke the zip tie that was around the base - thus incurring a charge. My entire rental - with mileage - cost $200. For this amount, I think that the use of the dolly should be included. Then - this particular site supposedly gives you a key code to enter to get into the gated area. I could not find it anywhere on the app, despite running through the process twice. This is a deficiency in the app. For something so vital, this should be in BIG BLINKING LETTERS so it is easy to find. I had the truck outside the gate, and my car was inside the gate. Fortunately. at the time I brought it back (2 PM) someone was attending the phone, and gave me an entrance code. For a while, it seemed like I was going to be locked out. I don't need that kind of anxiety. You need to make the experience less stressful.

The online process worked great for making the reservation and returning the trailer since the office was closed by the time we returned. I don’t have any suggested improvements, which my wife would say is hard to believe. I was very pleased with the entire experience. Chris

LLOYD GRAHAMWe actually went to another location closer and reserved a truck. When we went to pick it up, the UHaul program did not reflect the fact they had us as reserved. You send texts but not everyone has a smart phone. Not everyone wants to give out sensitive information over a technology that is so easily hackable. Maybe you should go back to trusting the people you contract to rent your trucks. People make the difference - otherwise, why send this survey?

DOUGLAS FELIXI rented an Auto Transport trailer. The rear right light wiring was detached. Easily fixed….. But the big problem was the tire strap on the right side was damaged and 24” too short. I didn’t discover until loading the car at 7pm. Never should have left the facility. Very dangerous situation. I’m very handy and had a solution that worked exceptionally well. I did use the supplemental chains to secure vehicle. Bottom line: don’t trust your safety to a person you don’t know. Examine everything.

Carlos EscobarUnlike the service hours listed with U-Haul they are only open from 9-1 Monday through Friday and 8-11 on Saturday. I called the number repeatenndly and the recording would not take messages it only said visit location during Business Hours.I Arrived and they were clsed. I used U Haul return and called the Live Verification number and they were great!! I left the truck outside the barbed wire topped fence and went back this morning. They were in the office and when I walked in they said "Where is the truck key. You need to move that car you came in it is in the way of the truck. I did and they moved it inside, Frim inside the fence the lady said you are done, I left.

JOSEPH DECASTRAFast and easy pickup, truck was clean and in good running order, made a quick 24-hr turn-around to move bulky outdoor items to my new home. I really appreciated the use of the loading ramp and the "padlock on a chain" for use to secure the door and my cargo.
MICHAEL HARGRAVESThank goodness for Aiken Self Storage. I was originally sent to Sutton Marine by a UHaul representative; however, the business was closed. When I FINALLY was able to get in contact with a customer service representative the young lady rescheduled the truck pickup with Aiken Self Storage immediately . The manager of this business was helpful, professional, friendly and walked me through the return process so I would be prepared since I would be returning the truck after hours. I was very upset with UHaul initially but my experience was turned around when your CSR and Aiken Self Storage manager took over.

William BoatwrightIt was literally the worst experience customer service wise that I have had in a very long time at any facility. Upon arriving there the lady complained in front of me about having last-minute reservations sent her way And she made sure to mention that she was just about to leave although her hours of operation we’re ready only half day and it was 30 minutes before that. Then made sure to tell me that I cannot leave the truck outside of the gate or it will get towed at my expense but in rushing us did not mention how to get inside of said gate. My dad and I were standing at the gate for almost an hour calling her facility as well as uhaul for a code to get in. FINALLY and luckily a user of the storage spots came to get into her stuff and let us in. It’s been a couple weeks and I left SEVERAL voicemails that day and still no call back. So clearly she cares about that business.

Could not get in the gate when returning and nobody would answer the posted phone number. Had to keep the truck overnight because my car was locked inside the gate, which was a major inconvenience. Keeping the truck overnight meant extra unnecessary miles that I was ultimately charged for. Will never use this service again.

Craig BurgessTerrible customer service for this location with absolutely no signage as to where to park truck and leave key. The key box and parking lot are snuggly behind a barb wire fence. No code was given and no number to call. Left truck in front of this business and was sent a text message the next day that the truck would be towed and I would be liable. THANK GOD UHAUL CORPORATE COULD HELP ME OUT. If corporate would not of helped I would have lost all of my mind.

Enchantment ProductionsEverything was smooth. Very fortunate the representative when I checked out the equipment provided the gate code or I would not have been able to return the trailer outside of normal business hours. My understanding was that the app should have provided the code - it did not.

The truck was cleani inside and out. Clearly someone took the time to get it so clean. However, the tires on the truck looked old and did not have much tread on them. It made me a little nervous , because I had to depend on them to hold up for a 300 mile trip.

I reserved a truck at one location for it not to be there... was re routed to a U-Haul many miles away from me. I had issues returning it because I was on hold AGAIN... probably will not rent from U-Haul again because of these issues. Get it together U-Haul.
stephanie ferundenCharged an after-hours drop off fee, I returned the trailer at 4:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Why would U-Haul allow this company to charge their customers a fee for daytime drop offs. I cannot help it that this storage facility closes at 1:30 pm.
