The cab of truck smelled like cigarettes and was dirty. It took longer for me to clean it then it did for the truck to be loaded. However, it was a newer truck and easy to drive and comfortable.

The truck began with a full tank of gas. This allowed me to just top it off to return it with a full tank. I didn't have to worry about wasting money putting in more gas than I used or getting charged more than the cost of gas for U haul to gas it up. I liked that.

The location was closed not to open for 5 days. When I contacted U-Haul direct they said I had to download an app to return the trailer. If I did not complete the transaction this way I would be charged up to 20$ per day as a late charge.

The attendant informed me that there was going to be an additional charge for being late. When I looked up the rental online, I was under the impression that I would have the trailer for 3 days. I was informed that it was only one day at drop off, there for the additional charge.

This is a great location for returning equipment. I followed the U-Haul instructions and found it easy to drop off.

Location accepted our reservation however they were closed when we went to go pick up the truck even though online said they should have been open. They did not provide any instructions prior to picking up the truck on how to use the 24/7 service. The truck itself reeked of gasoline smell. We assume that the truck was leaking gasoline.

Hello, I hired Pick It Up Put It Down Movers for $540.95 on 6/28/2023. I spoke with on Friday and he said he and his crew would be at my home address of 3 Robie St Bath NY 14810 the following day Saturday 07/01/2023. When they never showed up I called the given number and attempted to text with no response until the next day when he explained that he had gotten a flat tire and his AAA assistance had taken a long time to get to him. He di offer to come the following day if I still needed help. I told him yes we still needed help and we agreed to 3 pm Sunday 07/02/2023. At 3:40 pm there was still no sign of any movers. When I reached out to him he told me he had to cancel because he couldn't get a rental car. I'm sure you can see how this would create an inconvenience during even the best of times. But this is Sunday evening over a Holiday weekend and I am a single Mother with a 3 year old toddler attempting to leave a long term domestic violence relationship. I have been planning this for a long time and time is of the absolute essence. The next day I called UHaul and spoke with Haley. She told me they could refund me or get me the information for another moving company. I told her that another company would be great but I was going to need an extension on the truck too due to the fact that I'd just lost two days. She said she'd still have to charge me $40 a day. I agreed because what choice did I have. She told me the movers information that she was sending me was Arizona time zone and wouldn't open for another hour so give them a call in an hour and I could arrange something with them. Unfortunately Haley never sent the information. I continually checked my text messages and email throughout the day just to be sure. My friend and I moved as much as we could but having rented a 26" truck was useless because we couldn't get all of my belongings in the truck and get out of the house safely in the timeframe we had available. I am requesting a full refund of the total paid for the Movers for $540.95 and any late fees associated due to the movers not showing up even after two full days. Additionally I'd like to be compensated for the cost of renting the largest vehicle because I was unable to utilize it's full capacity. I'm not sure if you have any idea how difficult it is for a woman in my position. After multiple orders of protection and attempts at leaving, the amount of planning and saving that goes into something like this. Trying to get my daughter and myself to a safe place.... I am lucky enough that I have a good job and had a little money to establish a small safety plan. However, I am very disappointed with my U-Haul experience. There was some problems with the first trailer concerning the lighting ie. The passenger side lights weren't working BUT no sweat the attendant had another trailer hitched and fully functional in minutes and on my way I went. Smaller facility but very efficient for my needs. Great overall experience! Thanks

You can give the $50.00 Discount as was told to me on the phone by a Lady on customer Service on the morning of my pick up. The $50.00 was not discounted. You need to check my account. The lady said she out it in my account for the Discount. I will never Rent from UHaul again. Experience Sucked. They had the wrong mileage plus wrong license plate number.

When I rent something and reserve it for 9 am I have to try to locate someone to assist. Is the thing ready? No I have to drive over to another lot to get it and then have it hooked up. I expected on time rental however I spend an inordinate amount of my time doing things that should be set up and ready to go in advance. I feel like they are doing me a favor to rent a trailer. I may be troubling them or interrupted them from doing something else.

I've been calling this location all morning (like 6+ times) before dropping off earlier than scheduled nobody ever picked up the phone or even called back to this very moment. Even as I was dropping the truck off and was on a rush to leave with my Uber ride ready to leave me cuz I kept trying to call them while in front of the location and could see "open" sign they still wouldn't answer the phone. I actually had an agent from 1-800GO U-HAUL on the other line calling them right at that time while I was literally in front of the location dropping the truck off trying to catch my Uber ride before being more late for work than I already was and they still wouldn't answer the phone from U-Haul calling neither
