He wanted to give us a credit because we brought the truck back having not gone over our mileage and with a full tank of gas. I’d say he would be the saving grace for Uhaul if he was an actual Uhaul employee, but he’s only a vendor. This guy was fantastic, in all the ways the rep at the Wake Forest NC location should have been.

Chris MAbsolutely nothing. The owner was amazing. We're actually about to rent another uhaul from him this week.
CHRISTINA MSince U-Haul charges for mileage, I reserved a truck at the location nearest to me. When the truck was not available at that location, U-Haul changed the pickup location to a place 6 miles farther each way. Oh, this was done the DAY of my pickup so it's not like I could cancel because all plans were put in place for that day. I should not have been responsible to pay $12 extra just to get the truck to my starting location. The miles between my original pickup location and the rescheduled pickup location should have been waived or the amount not charged. I understand truck availability is a challenge, but the expense should not be passed on to the customer.
