Fred Rains JrChains had road rash on them half of the driver side break and turn signal was inoperative told the girl and she seemed un concerned said it was noted wanted to pick up later in the evening was told she had to get pictures of it hooked up wich she handed me a pice of paper that I still have and said here's ur serial number for the equipment it's down there my number is on there send pictures of equipment after u get hooked up which I could have done with here not even there.
Charles ReaganI was there on Sunday and had to check in by phone. It took over an hour to check in with uhaul. It took several calls and verification numbers to check in and also to check out. I lost valuable time with the truck and lost money. I was charged more to return the truck. Completely unacceptable.
Gary WeaverThe return process is pretty complicated for a person not real tech savvy 🤷♀️. My granddaughter was a great help since I had to. back in the trailer and drop it first and then back the truck in. I did it though but picked what I thought it was the truck to return and take pictures of but it was referring to the trailer. The person in customer assistance was a great help and reassured me that it could be straightened out the next morning.

Kenneth BallietThe trailer was older than we have rented before and seemed shorter (not as tall) on the inside. The roll down/up door was hard to close. The latch was old and rusty. The man at the pickup location was super nice & helpful.

JOHN BOWMANI made online reservations for a 1:45pm pickup. When I arrived, a sign on the door said they were closed for the day and would return tomorrow (doctor's app) but I could still contact her which I did. I got the trailer but there was no one there to hook it up.

George SaavedraWe were very pleased with Jason at the Boaz location. He helped tremendously with what was a disaster of a situation created by last minute cancellation at our original pickup location. We were however very displeased with the procedures the company has for unexpected truck issues and Tessa who communicated with us the Saturday before pickup on Monday. There were zero business days given for arrangements to be made due to our original truck not being available. Jason informed us there could have been accomodations made for a larger truck closer to our original pickup location instead of us having to drive an hour and a half round trip out of the way just to pick up another truck and tow trailer. Tessa did not disclose this information and told us the Boaz location was our only alternative outside of a further location without the tow trailer available. I had to take off work when originally planned to just be 20 minutes late for pickup Monday morning since the rescheduled location did not open until 10am, as well. We were only accommodated by 40 miles we would not have to pay for on the truck rented due to the location change. Not our hours of work lost, or time out of the way for moving that day. Very displeased with how unaccommodating she was, and hope to never have to deal with a situation like that again.

Randall ParkerPulled up, couldn’t get anyone to help me. Had to stay on the phone with my wife and kids in the car for over 45 minutes... had to do so many pictures to prove things crazy.

Shelley HoopsThe location was locked out of their office when I arrived, My code to get in the lockbox would not work. Location employee couldn't get it open, then the regional manager showed up, he couldn't get it open and worked with it for 15-20 minutes before finally opening it. Caused me to be 1 hour late to a project that I had 6 employees on the clock waiting. Then they quoted me $.69 cents a mile and charged me $ .99 The staff and 1-800 staff were VERY nice. just cost me a lot more money than had anticipated.
Bruce BeairdLet someone know upfront that no one will be at the location where you pickup and go ahead and send the lock box code so you can get the keys. Also I had to go thru 3 people on the phone before I was actually helped.

Jeremy SullivanI was told the location was 14 miles from my home when it was actually 23 miles. I was expecting maybe 30 miles and wound up paying for 46 miles. I cost me about $14 more in mileage which doesn't sound like much but on a single set income it makes a big difference. Other than that it was good.
Kathy McMillianUnit was not checked when turned in. Basically I dropped it off, did all the disconnects. Showed my paperwork for a photo, and left. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to work. Guess I'll never know.

Joshua BeckI received a text message at 5:46 in the morning the day before I was supposed to return the truck. This text stated that I had been assigned a different drop off location that was 40 miles away from the location where I had picked up the truck. It took several telephone calls and many Conversations to get the drop off location changed back to where my car was parked. I do not know why this change was made without my consent or why it was so difficult to have my drop off location returned to the original place where I had picked the truck up. This unscheduled change to a location 40 miles from Where my car was parked could have been a total disaster since I had no means of transportation home. It took several calls and an approval by a supervisor to correct this situation. I think it is totally inappropriate that U-Haul dictated this change and was so hesitant to accommodate me. Overalls that entire experience and the fact that I had to make so many calls to customer service and was treated so rudely by One of your customer service representatives was stressful and Uncalled for. The Boaz location was very helpful and accommodating but I cannot say that about the rest of this experience.
Dianne JacksonI reserved a truck and the office wasn't open yet, I used my phone to do all the paper work. I was afraid I'd mess up on something, BUT it went very smooth with my cell phone. They have improved the system of renting to very easy.

AMANDA BEANThe original reservation was at Chase Park. We were upgraded to a 26 foot without being contacted because they had given our reserved 20 foot to someone else. Due to our inexperience in big trucks we were very nervous about driving and did not use the truck. Customer service was poor at best. We continued our search to Moore's Mill. The representatives there were extremely helpful and very compassionate. They went beyond excellent service and tried to make our first experience with U-Haul bearable. The move was already awful due to job loss. Moore's Mill service representative should receive full credit for making our day bearable. I applaud them. My recommendation would be to contact customers when contract has been changed, regardless of upgrade, or change.

Bill ColemanWe had to pick the key up on Saturday since they were closed today. We didn't pick up the vehicle until this morning. It was returned today by 4. We were charged another $60. so we spent close to $200 and didn't have the vehicle a full day. I will not be using this service again.
