Merri WFirst time I've not had a 100% great experience with U-Haul rental from Booth Street Storage. The truck was old and well used, and had design issues that were not their fault (i.e., gas pedal too far left and too close to the brake pedal). It started and ran good. The ramp could probably use a lubricating as it was "sticky" the 4 - 6 inches from latching going both in and out. The appliance dolly was in very sad shape. The left wheel, and maybe the right, had a worn bearing. Hard to push with just a light load and wickedly squeaky. I didn't have to move the refrigerator I anticipated, and that was wonderful because I'm not sure I could have handled it on that dolly. A small floor safe with a large toolbox on top pretty much maxed it out. The people at Booth Street Storage are always wonderful to work with. I've been there several times for a variety of trailers, which have also always been great, so I consider this experience with the appliance dolly an anomaly. Oh, one other thing. Consider wireless backup cameras as rental options. Magnetic attachment points would make them easy on/off items. I would have gladly paid an extra $5 or $10 per day for one. Thankfully, I had a watcher (the guy I was moving), but that's not always the case.
Shevlin RWe would like to commend Marci for getting our truck to us when we arrived to pick it up. The computer system was down at the time (U-Haul nationwide) when we were in Marci’s office & she manually made things happen.
Karen PDon't have your web site say one thing and the place of business does the complete opposite. Then you charge bogus charges and don't respond back to emails that are sent to you. Poor way to be running a business.

John WTrailer was absolutely not what I reserved online. It was smaller and did not have a motorcycle chock. Extremely disappointing as it appears to have been a case of bait and switch. Very much feel like I was lied to. This is clearly a case of misrepresentation.
Michael CTell people they are being charged a flat fee AND by the mile we were told it would be 164$ for one day then we got charged an additional 47$!
Chase HThe trailer was dirty inside. Dirty outside red clay. Should have been washed off. The roadside personel had to get crew out to cut off one roller due to door would not open or shut. Put me 4 hrs behind. Should have been a free rental. That trailer was jacknifed at one time from what I heard.

Joe BWe arrived 15 minutes after 4:30 pm and found they had already closed for the day, Monday. The landlord for rental units helped us. We never saw or talked to the U-Haul people. Would be helpful to know the closing time for drop off locations.

Danny CTruck had a horrible weed smell and on top of the mileage fee there is also a fuel fee. Outrageously expensive for having the vehicle for less than 4 hours and less than 100 miles.

Joseph GVery disappointed that there were blankets and a dolly that I didn't need locked in the truck. It was inconvenient and in the way and it took up valuable space! If there is a next time I will make sure the back is empty. If not, I will leave them before I take off. I have my own blankets and dollies. I did request an appliance dolly, so I was obviously aware I could have requested those if needed. Aaargh!
