Leave truck inside fence instead of on street

LLOYD KINGI did not receive the dolly that was supposed to be in the truck upon pick up. I did the self pick up so the office was not open and there wasn't anyone to assist.

Jill MurrayMonths ago I scheduled a pick up at a location near me. I arrived the day before to confirm the truck would be there but I was surprised to learn that not only would the truck not be there, but that I would get a call sometime during that day telling me where I would be able to pick up the truck. I was handed in 800 number and told I had to call and figure things out on my own if I didn’t want to wait for that call? I called and found out the truck would be at a location 10+ miles from my home and not at a staffed location- that I had to watch a video and go through all kinds of gymnastics on my phone in order to pick the vehicle up. This truly was a poor experience. I’ll rent through Penske the next time

One major drawback was that the truck was only provided with a 1/4 tank of gas. I should have been credited for any gas above 1/4 tank when returned.

I have no finalized bill as all I have is a screen shot I took while doing the online return that says thank you and this request for a review. I know this is an issue with U-Haul in general and not the location but why no finalized bill?

AJ SturnioloThis is a good location for drop off or pick up if you live in the downtown Cleveland area. It would be helpful if the area to leave the Uhaul vehicles were clearly marked. It is in an old warehouse area and it seems the UHauls are parked outside of the gated business on the street. We did return the UHaul truck a little after 5:00 while it was still still light outside. We were able to walk back to downtown Cleveland which was nice.

Kevin BarryI was not aware that the pickup time of 7am had a hard cutoff. I showed up closer to 8 thinking there would be no issues, but I had to wait on the customer service line for 30 mins to get the pickup time reset. Clarification on this ahead of time would have been nice. No issues otherwise

Steve SmolinskiThe worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. This location looks abandoned and I waited 30 mins for someone to arrive to open the doors to pick up my truck. And calling FORGET about it !!! I called them literally over 15 times during business hours and got van everytime would recommend everyone stay far far away from this location. Calling corporate wasn’t useful. Still haven’t heard back from the regional manager after many attempts transfers and hang ups.
