The equipment was clean. But they employees have no idea what they are doing. They tried to charge me for fuel and other stuff. But I had taken pictures when I picked up the vehicle and dropped it. So I was able to point it out and get away from unnecessary charges. Had to wait so long for them to complete the return. Customer service is so bad.

I was given incorrect information about how to drop off the equipment at another location. Causing an issue for me later the next day. Which the U-haul customer service department was able to help me correct.

Bard MWhile trying to return the U-Haul, the location closed earlier than advertised, which was disappointing. We then tried using the app to return the vehicle and mid-submission of the information, the app crashed.
Maxwell CThe equipment was covered with ice and road dirt, not what I would prefer but I understand that in cold winter conditions, it's difficult to wash a trailer. Also I brought it back more iced up and dirtier. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Process was fast and smooth.

louise gI called in and was told there was a trailer in powassan so drove 40min there was 6 of them there on a Friday at noon I was told no one was there to book it out so had to then drive 40 min north to the next U-Haul’s rental place then pay extra to drop it off in powassan and rent it for two days cause I now wouldn’t have been able to make it back to north bay last night then would have. To drive another hour and a half south home

RHYANTHOMAS TTruck was filthy, both in the cabin and in the box. Cabin had definitely been smoked in, regularly. Box has a hole in the floor where the gas tank pipe goes to the outside, though which you could see the ground -- definitely not safety-able in Ontario.
Adam ATrailers do not have tongue jacks installed so you have to lift the trailer to get it hooked up. Once the trailer is loaded there is no way to unhook the trailer if need be. I feel this should be mandatory because the tongue is very heavy to lift even when empty. Doesn’t make sense to not have tongue jacks installed. I won’t rent from this location again because of this.

Jaswinder BThe inside of the cab had food scraps around the cup holder and the back of the truck had quite a bit of dirt and broken glass that had to be cleaned out before I could use it. When I arrived to pick up the truck at the scheduled time, it was at the far back of the parking lot covered in snow. With no snow brush available, I had to use my coat to clear the windshield. I was not impressed at all.

Mark MChange your billing method. You say that there is no drop off fee, but when you rent a trailer and want to drop it off 237 km away (2.5 hour drive) you are forced to take it for 2 days. I didn't need it for 2 days I only needed it for 6 hours but cause I was leaving it in North Bay I was forced to take an extra day I didn't need doubling my bill. I would appreciate the cost of the second day back if possible please and thank you.

Dennis SThey did not have moving blankets available for my reservation and could not tell me if any other locations had any. They advised they couldn't help hook up the trailer, they could only check it was done correct afterwards.
Mindy DThe service was great, the truck I was given was not. I the alignment of the truck is off as it pulls to the right quite aggressively. Upon achieving a speed of 80+ km/hr the steering wheel begins to shake. The driver’s door doesn’t shut properly and requires that you slam it in order for it to shut properly. The inside of the cab, I found an old Tim Horton’s bagel wrapper in the drivers door and a gas receipt from someone else’s rental on the passenger side floor.

Charlene TThis location is part of a convenience store. There was no clear UHaul location inside, but when I asked the people behind the counter they directed my to a person that helped me out. They checked over the truck and then calculated my final bill in about 10 mins. There were no issues with this location.

Pissed me off they wanted to check it after it was hooked up I suggested they hook it up if they wanted it done right
