Arrived for pick up; the vehicle was covered in snow and the area wasn't plowed. I requested the vehicle be cleaned prior to pick up! After I personally removed snow from the vehicle I couldn't get it out of it's parked location. The vehicle had to be pushed out via Skid Steer vehicle. The inside was dirty and trash left behind from the previous user. The next morning the vehicle wouldn't start. I had to charge the battery. I returned the vehicle and cleaned it out as it should have been. I should be completely refunded for this terrible experience.

We arrived to pick-up our equipment at this location at appointment time. The location was locked and the U-haul representative was not there. We had to call customer support in order to get the trailer dispatched.

You charged me for gas used when it was returned at the level I got it at. Seriously, never renting again. The entire process was a nightmare and anything but contact free

I was charged $6 extra for 1.5 gallons of gas. Mind you I put $20 in to get it to the half mark which it was in when I picked it up. That’s a little petty on U Hauls part in my opinion. Jim Lapierre

Battery was dead when I picked up and dies if you shut it off for more then 20mins

Be prepared for pick ups at certain times, the order was supposed to be ready for an hour ahead of time and we didn't even end up getting the truck until a half hour past pick up time.

This was quick - He was expecting me. We went outside and he suggested I move it to another space. That involved backing up and that always made me nervous. I said....um no...but you can! He smiled and pulled it over there :)

The facility was dirty and uninviting. The requested extra items (hand truck and pads) were not there even though I had called prior to pickup and confirmed my request. Had to go get them from another U-Haul facility. I would never rent from this place again.

They called looking for the truck on Sunday. Told her Chepachet, as per my paperwork. She told me not to worry, she would take care of it. Very efficient. Very professional.

I would like Uhaul to be more attentive to the engine maintenance on their truck rentals. The truck I drove was clean and kept and up to date but the engine was making noises that I know it shouldn't be. The brakes worked perfectly. Other than that the ride was good.

The location and service at this UHaul dealer were great. Very pleasant folks. I am disgusted with the regional manager and the people who answer the phones when you dial into the regional area to schedule your truck rental. I have an e-mail confirming a 17 ft truck at this location GUARANTEED and there was no such truck there. I was left a message that I could have a 15 FT AFTER the GUARANTEE and they gave that away too. I was stuck moving a 4 bedroom house with a 10 ft truck. I have left 2 messages for STEVE the area manager and have heard nothing from him. I am guaranteed $50......big deal......they charged me over $350 for the extra time that I needed the 10 ft truck plus all of the miles that I had to put on the darn thing making many more trips than necessary. Plus another $40 in gas to fill it back to where they want it returned. Not to mention that I only had a moving crew for 1 day. Try moving a house that big with 3 people. It's absolutely horrible.

The location was closed by the time we dropped the truck off that is why I gave it an average rating. However, I followed up with them this morning (October 5) to ensure that everything was all set. The gentleman with whom I spoke was very helpful and professional. Having the drop box was very convenient and easy.

The only drawback to the UHaul cargo trailer is its not high enough for a 6' plus man. Can't tell you how many times I hit my head. Other than that, the experience is top shelf.

UHaul-trained personnel were not available at the time of pick-up. On-site personnel were very helpful, but the process was slow and required considerable phone coaching. Individual doing the check-out was also busy with customers (auto-repair) at the same time.

The u haul wasn't ready when we got there. Then it took almost 45 minutes to get the information through the computer which made us late. And when we got to our destination the sliding door was frozen shut and it took us an extra half hour trying to open it.
