LEWIS W.Picking up the truck using the App was painful. Poor cell service in the area made it more difficult. Once I did the multiple tasks to get the code to the lock box, it did not load the code and I had to call customer service for the code. Then one headlight was out on the truck and of course we didn't know until dark. Returning the truck via the app was more painful than picking it up. Multiple pictures had to be taken by cell phone and I had to wait for them to load via poor cell service and it was about 20 degrees outside and very dark to take the pics. I will not rent from U-Haul again

Charles R.Getting to This location was quite an endeavor. Until I met Bob at my final destination, I was ready to spin the reviews away from UHAUL. I am sorry to say, it was not a pleasant experience. My first try at securing a rental was on a Thursday evening. This was the closest to my home. The service man there said they do not carry what I was looking for. He told me to go to a different, larger location, they have plenty of vans and pickups. I asked if I could go during my lunch hour the next day and still not be in jeopardy of them not having one. He assured me that it was not going to be a problem. The next day, I fought traffic and used my lunch break to go where I was told to go. Once there, the woman just about laughed in my face. "Oh honey, it's the end of the month, we don't have any for this weekend. NO" Really? How patronizing. When I then asked if she knew of a location that might, she told me to call 1-800 Go UHAUL. How frustrating to fight the traffic from all the construction in our town, miss lunch, used a bunch of gas, etc. for nothing but to be treated like that. I called the corporation. That person said that the location I was advised to go to the first time and JUST LEFT...well, they have a van. The woman who laughed at me had a van. I wanted to scream. Now, mind you all the while, I kept getting pushed into downloading the app if I wanted quick service and it can take care of my needs completely and fast. Over and over this was pushed. I told the corporation woman that that location told me they didn't have anything for me. She was surprised and then made up something to cover for her. I would not go back to where I obviously was not wanted. I asked corporation to find me something else nearby. This was when we secured the place in Loveland it was further for me, but I gave my cc number anyway. She made the reservation for me on the phone. I received my email confirmation within minutes. The next morning, the day of the rental I downloaded the app. WHAT A MISTAKE> I could not for the life of me get that to work clean and quick. It was anything but quick and easy. It was 2 1/2 hours later and two phone calls to get to someone that finally said, let's just go through the website. What? I was aggravated with the company; it wasted my time when I really didn't have any to lose and made the whole process long and tiring. When I finally went to pick up the van, I was met with someone that listened to what I was going through. He explained some things and was actually helpful. I am glad I ended up at that location to give them the business. It did end up being much more expensive than I was expecting. After filling the van back up at $4.03 a gallon, I couldn't believe I was paying for almost $150 total for this trip. I really wished more than ever that I knew of someone with a truck to help me get the desk and table to Livermore. Men have that convenience all over us single woman. Anyway, it is done, and I appreciate the opportunity to speak my peace. Thank you.

Christopher I.Quoted price and when payment is due should not change. My cost doubled and I had to pay up front and my location was changed across town and I had to pay extra mileage. I paid twice as much as I was quoted. The truck was dirty. I doubt it was a 17 foot truck. It drove rough. I had to go back home to get more money to pay up front and lost over an hour of moving time. I had an extra dolly and pads taking up space I needed to move my things. The office was clean and had air conditioning.
