MARK DIETZEThe location is near at my house. It’s good but the thing is the key box is hard to find. I was looking around trying to find the key box. They should make it arrow where to find the key. Also, it’s hard to do it online to fill out the form and upload photo. It takes so long. I’ve been waiting. It’s wasting my time and delaying moving my stuff.

Robert ScharlowDrop off was supposed to be open 8am to 5pm, there was no one there at 10:30 am? No one answered the phone. The place was a dump. I called Monday at 9:30 am to get a receipt, they were too busy. Got the unit checked in at around 2pm. This actually made me nervous because I felt I was still responsible for the trailer. Uhaul should make sure the drop off location is open!

Doug DuBrockHalf way through our trip we found out the blinker light on the trailer did not work. The gentleman helping me checked all the lights as I sat in the truck activating them. He said they were all good. It just might have been the bulbs timing I guess.

Susan StanleyMy average rating has absolutely nothing to do with Childress Automotive. U-Haul as a company has lost my business for any future rentals. I own a flooring company, and have had 2 of the worst experiences with a company I can remember back to back 2 days straight. First, it took 3 transaction for a trailer rental at the Hoffman Estates location, and 1 hour of my time to go to Home Depot for the hitch reducer that the rep was not observant enough to notice until after all 3 transactions to rent me a trailer, sell me a hitch, and sell me the straps that I asked for with the trailer. The following day, after 5 SCAMMY advertisements on your website before I could even place my order, Childress Automotive was unable to fulfill the 6x12 trailer order for over an hour due to U-Haul website issue. THEN, I get a bill with an extra $20 in pad-wraps and a lift truck that I used NEITHER OF, nor were they even in the open-top trailer that I rented. Thank you for showing what an excellently run (sarcasm) this is, and pushing me toward smaller rental businesses in the area that actually value customer service. I will tell everyone/anyone I know to stop using U-HAUL in the future. Get your shit together.
