Have the business open at the correct time. Not the business I wanted to get the truck to start with. My place didn't have one avaiible. Showed up early for my appt. Business was closed, called number on door. Said to call an emergency number. Did that, spoke to business owner, He called his employee, no answer, So He said he would be on his way. 45 mins later he showed up. Then had computer issues. Finally got the truck about an hour or so later.Another truck came in and also had to wait, Other than the initial getting the truck. The rest of the experience was good.

Not sure why it had to be so difficult for me, but I picked up and dropped off at 6am, which left it still dark, the lock on the truck isn't the best. I was exhausted and irritable due to moving and then I had to take these pictures in the dark. I wasn't happy with the way it was done. The truck was fine for being an older model.

Not only was the windshield FILTHY from a thousand bug guts of driving 2000 miles, but the oil level was near ZERO AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON!!! I called the location and the gut who answered literally blew me off and didn't care. So he didn't care if 2 females got stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Had to stop in the next town and get oil at uhaul there. DO BETTER.

ELIZABETH BAESMANWe were told to drop the trailer at a different location, never received a text changing the location. The location we dropped the trailer off is poorly marked, there were a bunch of Uhaul truck and trailers, so we dropped it off there. No one was available to check it in. Yesterday I received a call from Damacio's, he was very nice, and went to pick the trailer up where we dropped it. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for $21.67 for an after hours fee for dropping the trailer off. We certainly picked the trailer up without anyone being there, were told it's self service. Nowhere in the contract is there mention of an after hours drop fee. It's not the franchisee's fee, it's UHauls.

ANTHONY SMITHThe fact that I had to travel 30 miles outside of the city to pick up a trailer and not get compensated for the travel or time is very disappointing because you as a company do not have the manpower to get the trailer to be more local. That should not be my problem and have to take my time and inconvenience to get it is not right. Do something about pick up and drop off to be more convenient for your customers.

ALAN LAMBERGI'm not sure whether the issue was with the location or U-Haul's remote pickup process. Regardless, I was unable to open the word lock to get the keys. I tried calling the 1800 number and tried contacting a representative via chat, but after receiving no reply in either chat or on the phone, I came to the conclusion that it was faster to find another solution to my moving needs than to wait for a response.
