Armid MIt was quick and easy. They even owned a gas station and I filled the truck right there to complete my contractual obligation. An employee did a walk around and made sure we had left nothing behind and he even took the truck and parked it. Easy peasy!
Robert HABS light was on. Tires on one side had no tread! Cruise control did not work. Cab was dirty. Shakes when going down the road.. my pickup place was not the one I requested I had to go out of my way to pick it up.
Perry TI can't think of anything I would suggest changing because of anything I experienced with my rental trailer and the Uhaul franchise location I rented it from and returned it to a day earlier than I expected to need it! The trailer was in practically brand new condition. Just as a precaution, I thoroughly inspected the trailer I was about to hitch to and tow behind my truck for at least the next five days. I checked the air pressure in both tires and they were not only fully inflated but to the exact PSI recommended by the manufacturer to inflate the tires to and operate the trailer at its maximum loaded weight allowable for that particular trailer model. (I rented a 4x8 enclosed trailer. I believe it is the smallest enclosed trailer Uhaul has available for rent. I was first worried that I didn't rent a large enough trailer for what I had to move and initially was worried I would need to make several more trips than I had estimated I would have to make. But my worries were completely unnecessary! And as a matter of fact, I ended up making less than half the trips I originally estimated I'd have to using the next size larger trailer that Uhaul has to rent! My reason for going with the smaller trailer was simply a last minute decision based solely on my available finances on the day I was scheduled to pick up the trailer. I just assumed and accepted that I'd be making several more trips than I originally estimated I would need to with the larger trailer I originally planned on renting! And I am very glad my estimate was way off from how many I had to make in reality! The 4x8 trailer was very easy to load and unload. Being nearly 6 ft 4 in. I was expecting to spend a good amount of time stooped over at the waist and my lower back being completely wrecked well before I had finished! (I've had seven spinal surgeries and my lower spine is fused from my tail bone to just below the middle of my back. My surgeon strongly suggested that I never lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk for the rest of my life! And I loaded my entire house full of furniture and even all the appliances went with me to my new house! I didn't expect to be able to load my refrigerator in that trailer but I laid it down on it's side and still had enough room to also fit my clothes washer and dryer, which are both Samsung front loading models that are considerably larger in every direction than top load models of washers and dryers. And I was amazed that I could load and fit all 3 in the trailer and still had room to load about a dozen boxes of various sizes along with the appliances and that trailer didn't even slightly squat or ride lower or rougher than it did empty! Actually it rode a lot rougher empty than loaded! And the overall ride in my truck while towing the trailer was very smooth with the trailer loaded near maximum capacity! And how rough it rode empty was nothing to complain about. It didn't bother me in my truck. It was only a bit noisier empty. Which is always the case with any trailer of any size. The most important thing for me was just that the trailer be mechanically sound and road ready. And most importantly, safe to tow, load, unload and hitch, unhitch, and that the doors were easy to open and close. And latch and lock securely each time I had to open and close it. I'm a former over the road truck driver with over 1 million safe miles under my belt. And I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to the truck and trailer I'm operating. I will not attempt to pull a trailer or drive a vehicle that I believe is not safe and reliable enough to tow safely and without any maintenance or lack of maintenance issues. And finally, I have absolutely no complaints about the cost of renting the trailer! It ended up being much cheaper than I had thought it was going to be! I was pretty amazed when I was told it was only $75 for not just one day, but the whole 5 days I originally thought I would need it for! And I was able to return it a whole day earlier than I expected! And I didn't even think about asking for a discount for the one less day! Because I expected to pay at least 5 times what it cost me! I'm very pleased and happy with my rental experience with Uhaul and would highly recommend Uhaul to anyone for their moving transportation needs! Thanks ya'll!

Frankie VThe location was great. U-haul corporate was terrible. I made a reservation and 20 minutes later, my reservation was changed. I called corp to try to find other options that would work for me and did not get many options. When I called my local U-haul shop, they told me the truck I wanted was available for the times I requested. When I dropped the truck off, the store was closed. I had to download the app. By the time I was done, I had no idea whether I had successfully returned the truck. I tried to view my receipt on the app. It would only show it to me in print that was too small to read. There was no way to download it or zoom in on it. I had to go back to my computer and go through the whole process again to se the final charges.

Donald BMaintenance on the vehicles. Visor was obstructing my view because it wasn’t attached, my seat waa broken so I was on an angle leaning on the door, the switch to control cab lights & head lights was pushed into the panel making it unusable. The kicker was the roach that climbed out of the center console to greet me as I was driving. Absolutely disgusting. I rent U Hauls for work regularly and I understand they can be beat up. This was frustrating.

Water poured in from all 4 upper corners and soaked a dog bed my new electricity adjustable bed frame and my power leather recliner. Even the employee at the Old Town facility showed me the front tire is bald and that all the walls had water running down them. I thought u haul was a customer friendly company, I guess I was wrong and I will never rent from U haul again if this is the equipmemt they are going to rent.
