Julie BrinningThe trailer stunk apparently it was used to haul some dead animals before me proof was blood splatters and what appeared to be some bones of I think a chicken. Should have known when door was up airing it out when I picked it up. I cleaned it with ammonia and dawn so I could haul furniture in it.

joseph baileyThe pick up location was great. Very friendly and very helpful. My experience with the U-Haul company, however, and its efforts to locate a truck for me was a different story. They couldn't assure me of a definite truck and location until the day before my rental, then wanted me to drive 40 minutes (each way) out of my way to pick up a truck. When I told them that this was unacceptable, they did manage to locate a truck about 10 miles out of the way. However, after picking up the truck, we drove past a similar sized U-Haul truck sitting for the entire day at the location I had suggested as my preferred pick-up location. The experience made me feel like they were just trying to add miles to my drive to increase the company's profit.

Douglas Lennox IIWhen I reserved the truck and supplies online, my preferences turned out different than I wanted. This happened twice because I went back and changed the size of the truck. It could have been my fault, but I remember double checking before I submitted.
Lauren LanzPlease be sure that if the pickup location changes, it is more obvious in the email you send the night before. There was some confusion the before getting the truck in the morning.

Tim FitzgeraldThe site was closed when I dropped off the truck, which I knew would be the case (it being a Sunday). However, when I called the next morning to confirm they checked everything, the voicemail said they would be closed for several more days, well past my deadline to turn the truck in. Yet I never received word of this in advance, otherwise I could have used another location to return the truck. (The key was already in the drop-box when I learned this, so could not move the truck.)

KELLY FERREIRAThey weren't very helpful on the phone. It was a Friday and they were more concerned with leaving early. They stressed that they would not help us if we were even a minute late. Our pick up time was 4pm and we had a hard time finding the place. They wanted us in and out so when it was questionable about our lights working, they explained that the cut off for helping us was 430 sharp and if we took too long, they weren't going to help us. I work in customer service- they cared more about their plans than their customer. That made things a lot more stressful.
ANGIE ANDERSONLocation was far, which made calculating the exact gas amount of return a problem. Perhaps this location could indicate to people exactly where the open gas stations are 'nearby'.
ROSS FELLERWhen i picked up the truck it was dirty inside and out. I was also very dissapointed with the overall cost of renting from uhaul. Your sign says the truck rental is only 29.95, so after rental ther total comes to 152.00, wow I know i added 26.00 for insurance and a dolly. Then on the back side i get hit for an additional 6.85 for mileage. Not my fault your rental representative gave me the dropoff location. I drove from the representative to my house to the new house and to the drop off point. The steerring wheel in the truck was too loose. It was hard to keep on the road, the tires were dry rotted, lots of exterior damage, interior of the cab and cargo van was dirty and the rep tells me to clean it when I return it. REALLY.

DEBBIE GILNERHad to wait 15+ minutes for the salesman inside to acknowledge us or greet us. Selection was poor. Had to rent larger size truck because smaller sizes not available. I was not happy that my final costs were more than anticipated since budgeted only for the smaller size in gas and mileage. Would not use this location again nor recommend because it cost us more money in the end AND he was not open on a Saturday afternoon to return the vehicle. Seemed unprofessional to be closed on a weekend when most people move.
