The app that I downloaded did not provided a way to sign in therefore, I could not return the equipment using the app. This was very frustrating and time consuming. I had to call customer service to return the equipment. This was another inconvenience due to the twenty minute wait to speak to a customer representative. I tried a number of ways through the website to return the equipment to no avail. I find the website to be troublesome to navigate.

BRENDA BThere were a few hiccups with my experience at this location. The woman who was helping me was very polite and kind, and although we struggled to find the truck, and I was initially given the wrong key, I was patient and she was very professional and polite. When I went back in to get the correct key, she was being verbally berated by her boss for making mistakes. He was already cussing her out before I went back in, and didn’t stop as I went in to get the key. If that’s how he acted right in front of a customer, I would hate to see how his employees are treated when there is nobody around. I didn’t say anything to him, because honestly in the moment I was scared of him, even though I should’ve. Definitely a toxic work environment for her, and he definitely scared off at least one customer. The only reason I’d go back to this location is to say something about his behavior to him personally.

SABRINA HI agreed to a price....they new what time I was dropping off trailer....and was charged 20.00 for after hours fee...never was that told to me...p.s. I rented for 12hrs....only used for 4hrs....drop off time was to be 3:30a.m.....in rough part of town...not doing that with my child...cant understand why I'm being charged for unhooking, parking and placing trailer on line, (basically the lot attendee job). They had to do nothing....just another example of nickel and dime the customer to squeeze all you can out of customer. It's not a lot of money but just a principal. Will never use Uhaul again unless I'm refunded the money.

He basically didn’t want to give me the vehicle even though U-Haul advised me that I can do a mobile pick up and return with the vehicle. It took longer than expected to check out because I was given push back from the gentleman. I love dealing with his wife when I do my counter checkouts. She is amazing, wish I could have made it there in time to meet her instead of him. I have a bad experience every time I deal with him. SMH
DOROTHY JI had to move my reservation to this location from south augusta car care which shouldn't be in business but this location was wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. My bf accidentally left hia cell in the truck & they kept it for us to pick up, so they are trustworthy! There is not a gas station near this location and unless you fet gas wherever you are before dropping off, itll cost you extra miles and at 99 cents per mile that could be pricey

Alicia DMake sure equipment rentals are available BEFORE charging the customer. I was charged for a utility dolly that does not exist at most locations. The rental agent was kind; however, I had to search the property for him. I understand staffing is low at the moment for many businesses, but having someone available to greet and readily assist customers is always a nice idea.
JENNIFER JI would not recommend the location located across the street on Gordon hwy. I made a reservation online for a storage unit weeks before and when I went to confirm my reservation I was told that they had given my reservation to a walk-in customer. That location is very poorly run and I would not recommend to anyone.

Jacob SI stopped by the evening before scheduled pickup to have my vehicle inspected per the agreement and to verify a trailer available (pickup location change by Uhaul). Upon inspection of the trailer, it was found covered in red clay mud and the site operator stated it would be clean when I returned for pickup in the morning. It had not been cleaned and the mud was still on it when I dropped it off.

PIERCE TIf it was honest then they would tell the customer about a mileage link email being sent to them at the counter Not after you are on your way in the Truck, then bill you some bogus mileage fuel fee for a 12 mile trip $24 REALLY now!! Also I was going to enquire about getting my car repaired there. NO WAY!!
Ivan CI was charged additional fees for after hours drop off and they knew when I rented it the drop off would be after regular hours and didn't notify me of those charges before hand. What I reserved was not available when I went to pick up

Tony BMake sure when customer is reserving a vehicle that the vehicle is where y’all said it would be. When I reserved my truck I was told that the truck would be at broad street location. Shen I got there the manager said they overbooked him and he did not have one. The manager there was very nice and he located a truck at the Gordon highway store. This was much further for me to drive as I live in North Augusta. The manager there was very accommodating and I would go there again. But I feel in this case since it was I hauls fault I should have been offered the truck at a reduced price or cut mileage price some.
DOROTHY HIt seems that my card was charged 20 extra dollars instead of just 10. Other than that everything was fine. I would like my money put back on my card though.
