We rented a 26' truck and an auto transport trailer. Spoke with the traffic office prior to pick up to arrange that transport not be attached until we returned with truck loaded. When we arrived, the trailer was already attached and had to be detached.

Tell them to put signs indicating office area! Would not go over check in with me or complete in my presence. Added 3 gallons of gas when level was same as was at pickup! The check in lady was very curt and not wanting me to wait for final checkin. Said would just send me an email.

James M.The truck I rented didn't have a ramp which was a HUGE inconvenience. I should've check, and will in the future, but it doesn't make sense to me that a MOVING truck wouldn't. Especially considering the truck sits more than a foot off the ground! Uhaul should indicate no ramp in bold letters on the back of the truck or ask during the reservation process.

Kevin H.The pick-up locations was different than what I had signed up for online. No notification was given to me. No phone call the night before to clarify details (which the contracts said would happen). I had ordered 4-5 packages of pads, only one package was available. The hand truck I ordered was not available. I had to go to a different location to get more pads and a hand truck. The communication between online sign-up and the local company is very poor. If I hadn't checked on the location before I picked up the truck, I was have had a lot of extra traveling to do. One local agent basically said you couldn't depend much on the online service.

Herbert K.I picked up the truck and trailer there, and this time the equivalent was there, the trailer had a bad landing leg, and I contacted roadside assist, and waited for a few hours, so I postponed the help to be at my location at 8 am, I had to contact roadside assist again, with another no show, so I managed to get the landing leg up, the leg didn't go down, so we dropped the auto transport at the destination. Overall not a good experience for the second time.

Jose P.This Grease Monkeys U-haul location has contract terms where money is potentially charged for damages at their discretion ALTHOUGH a collision damage waiver is paid. Shady and not acceptable. The terms for a ‘collision damage waiver' is in conflict with any potential charges when there are damages. Customers are left to argue about it with a grease monkey. I won't be using this location again.
