Kenny SCosted me over $400 to move 92 miles.....I had to put $60 in gas to go 92 miles. They marked down 1/4 tank of gas when it was empty. Charged $25 to clean it when it was not dirty. Was told $135 was a deposit. Called uhaul and they told me it wasn't. Costed me about $400. Should have just hired someone to move for me.

JAY LThis isn't against the pick up location but the trailer has a mechanical issue while in transit. U-Haul roadside assistance was not very flexible in helping me. I ended up pulling the damaged trailer to a U-Haul location and unloading into another trailer but I had to just make it happen rather than have the roadside assistance department be helpful. Otherwise everything was fine. But it is always easy when everything goes as it should. When we get off script, that is when you find out how good a company is and in this case, U-Haul didn't impress.

Gary WI would suggest that hourly rates be considered because I needed the equipment for only an hour but I was still charged the full day rate . Also, I'm a Veteran and no discount was given for Veterans. So SAD!!!

Bart FYou didn’t have the truck I ordered it n Boone then asked me to drive 70 miles round trip to get one. This added 2 hours to our move, plus extra gas expenses I incurred. Although I received text someone at uhaul should have made sure to connect with me via phone to explain the situation and ensure I was aware of the circumstances and offered more convenient options. The truck order had my home address and drop off location in the Charlotte area so someone at uhaul had to know sending us to Spuce Pine to pick up the truck was going to be far more than just an inconvenience. Very poor service experience and frustrating to our family. Not sure I’ll use uhaul again.

Mike BI did not have the equipment I ordered with my U-Haul and had to go to another store/location to pick it up separate from my actual U-Haul. The location was changed in the last two days and was not enough time to fully plan on another course of action. The pickup time was later than I had planned as well so it did not allow me the planned time to pick up my shipment and get it to my storage unit before closing time. This lead to more fees from you, U-Haul for having to turn it in a day late for literally two extra hours of time. This resulted in another $60 of cost. Will not recommend or do again.

Barbara BThe drop off location was fine, but It was not the closest due to closer locations around Burnsville and in Madison County being overstocked with returns so no space was available. The area traffic for these locations was not being efficiently managed apparently due to not re-distributing received inventory efficiently - caused extra time and fuel for me to return to alternate location - not good when gas prices are $4+ per gallon! The manager at the spruce Pine location was accomodative and apologetic, but stated that I was lucky in that I got the last spot available on his lot.

Brandy BI have only 1 issue and it is with Uhaul. The folks at Green Mtn and Uhaul St Pete we’re excellent and accommodating. However, I live appx 18 mi from the drop off location, and given an alternative even further. There is a new drop off alternative on 4 miles from me, at the old flea market location in Burnsville (28714) no one seems to have acknowledged. This would have been far more convenient for me!
Eugene WService was good but vehicle had to be cleaned Before I could use it. Someone prior had leaked fuel oils and grease in bed of truck and covered ramp - very dangerous to get in and out of . Took 2 hours and $30 of supplies to get enough oil residue off ramp and bed of truck not to slide around.

Green Valley Junction is not listed as one of your drop off places, but it should be. Mike was wonderful and very helpful. Unlike Scott at Newland.

Roger BI was originally supposed to pick up the Uhaul truck at a different location, but Uhaul changed the pickup location without informing me. I was also supposed to receive a verification call shortly before the scheduled pickup but did not receive a call about that either.
Sandra Hunits must be available when you set up and not left up in the air because scheduleing dept moves units to another location. had to call hickory , nc 3 times to get original unit there rather than moved to another location.
