The rental was horrible! The truck was dirty with dried mud on the floor, the passenger seat had dog hair all on it where a towel had to be put on the seat in order to sit down, the truck itself smelled like dog, and the smell got all into the our clothes, plus had to ride with the windows down for air, because and I have asthma; and there was white foam all in the back of the truck. To make matters worse, it was admitted that their trucks aren’t cleaned regularly upon return because many times they have no time between rentals when customers of the consignment store makes purchases, so they are just rented out as is, with no intention of making ready the rentals, nor any credits made or honorably given back for the inconvenience of riding in much less that desirable surroundings in the truck, by the manager of their Uhaul division of the store, who is the only one that can do it; and when called, after I was given his number, he was pretty nonchalant, and then never called me back as he said he would, plus never honored his agreement to credit some of our money back! The workers in the consignment store at the counter were nice, and regretted us having to go thru that, but couldn’t do anything when the truck was returned. The uhaul manager Justin Garner did nothing, and has not done anything Yet to honor his word! Signed, Very Disappointed!! :/

At this particular location, they were the only ones that honored my temporary license since I had to renew my license online. The Pennsylvania Department of transportation said to print it out and carry it with my license, and that it would be good. It was not! At this particular location, they were very cooperative with me. I don’t like the fact that I had to name a reference that turned out to be someone who owed U-Haul. I was therefore punished and not able to rent the truck because of that individual, all because my legal document was not honored. I went to three other U-Haul locations, and they would not accept my legal document. Other than that, I would have given Red Door an excellent! That lady at the counter really worked with me, and I was able to rent a vehicle thank goodness!

Rented a utility dolly and when we arrived there was none. Took a long time to receive assistance and we still could not get a dolly anywhere. This made us late to our move and we had to figure out where to get a dolly. Also the truck had roaches everywhere.

When we came to return the rental vehicle. They told us that the did not have the coverage to inspect the returning vehicle. It made me feel uncomfortable. We were told that he would email us the final invoice.I have checked my email and no invoice is to be found. We were also told that we would either be charged or credited about the mileage. I feel this location is not very professional. In the past we rented a truck from Penske to travel across the states from California. We will have to think hard about using haul in the future.

I need someone to go back and check why did they went on my bank account twice and take money out of my account. Not only I feel like I was over charged when I see that I had to pay $88 than they went to my account after I been charged and take $40 more even I over feel the truck with gas.

The floor and center area for drinks and storage were very dirty, but the seating area and driver controls were clean. Also, the van area of the truck was clean.

I was charged extra and couldn’t be explained the bill and why the charges made no sense. Improvement would be if you accurately bill someone or can at least explain each charge.

Customer service was excellent, kids in college I have been using U-Haul quite a bit and by far this was the best location, will use them again whenever I can.
