Service was excellent! I rented for few hrs and last minute called needing to keep rental overnight and the gentleman I spoke with went above and beyond to ensure it would be ok for me to keep equipment for extended time. Also was not expecting the bill to be as much and didn't have enough to cover so he himself worked it out to where I could pay remaining balance the next day BC bank had closed. 10 STARS

Darrick ScarbroughStop abandoning your customers in extremely difficult times. I was stuck in the mud and they said the insurance didn't cover that. Uhaul said they could send someone to tow me but it would cost me 450. Dollars. I was stranded and had to search out the internet to find a towing company myself. The people I got the truck from were great not the Uhaul company.
Linda TaylorThe gentleman at the location was very friendly and helpful but they did not have the 10 foot truck I had reserved 2 weeks earlier. I had to call Uhaul the day before since I had heard nothing from Uhaul since I had made the reservation on 12/7. At that point, Haley (sp?) told me they did not have the 10 foot truck and they would be giving me a 15 foot truck. I asked again for a 10 foot truck since we were not moving that many belongings and since I was concerned about gas mileage. She told me that there was a 10 foot truck in Narrows but everyone was at a meeting in Lynchburg and she had no one available to bring the 10 foot truck to Pulaski. I told her that I didn't have enough time to arrange for anyone to take me to Narrows and pick up the 10 foot truck. I asked for a discount to compensate me for the additional gas cost. She said all she could do was give a me a $50 credit of some sort. At this point, U-haul had the upper hand since I had planned to load on 12/20 and leave 12/21 and I did not have much choice! I was very disappointed that after making this reservation 2 weeks in advance, they couldn't get the correct truck to my pick up location. I'm even more disappointed now that I find out that the $50 credit wasn't even towards my recent trip but towards an unknown reservation in the future?? When I mentioned the discount to the guy I pick up from, he didn't even bother to explain this to me. I feel swindled!!
Maria Bruck-ModlinIf you are renting a tow dolly for towing a broken down car at 4pm on New Years Eve, you need a lot of help. This place gave me directions, also told me about the auto parts store where I could buy a hitch and wheel chocks. They did all they could to help us quickly get on our way.

Dorsey ThackerI asked if they had a tag along trailer to haul a china hutch. He ran my card for a truck that I did not need. I didn't realize it until he handed me a key after charging my card. I used it approximately 2 hours. I paid $149.00 for what should have been noore than $40 because I had a tow package on my personal vehicle. My boyfriend said they did that on purpose to get my money. He is considering going to social media to warn the public so they are not taken advantage of like I was.

Gloria HaleStore looked abandoned, unsafe part of town for drop off and cell phone barely had signal for self drop off. Took 30 minutes of walking around the parking lot, avoiding the crackheads asking for money, to get a signal to take all the pics required for self drop off. Not safe.

Zach GILBERTTrailer not returned to the address above. It was returned to the Duck & Deli in Radford, VA. Spent several days arguing with them. One guy said I returned the equipment late (not true) and another said I never returned the equipment (also not true). If this wasn't the first bad experience I have had, I wouldn't go back.
