Ann JThe gas in vehicle was below 3/4 of a tank when I picked it up. I drove less than 30 miles. I replaced 3.5 gallons upon return and the guage read 3/4 at drop off (More gas than was in it when I picked it up!!). Helens charged for another 3 gallons of gas at an huge markup. I also returned it early and they were closing closing 1.5 hours early (before actual closing time of 4pm) Had to drop key in drop box. I felt I was cheated and ripped off. So, I will NOT rent here again!! I highly recomend that you NEVER rent any vehicle that is not FULL tank in the future .

Brian RSara was just amazing yesterday morning. The on line key access was not working, and she helped with that. Then, the assigned truck was blocked in, so she helped with setting up a different truck that I could get to. All in the middle of hurricane force winds and torrential rain.

Went into garage and told guy it was dropped off and where and was just told ok no worries the guy will check it all in later on. Wasn’t surprised after the start of the rental that the ending would be just as non productive.

Kirols AOriginal drop off location that I had scheduled was 194 church street in whitinsville ma. I got there to drop off my truck and got yelled at by the manager because he already had 3 trucks on the lot and that’s all he was supposed to have. I had to call a U-Haul customer service to get assigned to a new drop off location, and drive another 10 minutes to get there

MIchael OI was unable to use the app to get my keys and the reservation got mixed up so I was assigned to the wrong vehicle. It resulted in an hour delay. The people at Helen’s Garage were very helpful in correcting the situation.

Alison LThis pickup experience was very frustrating, to the point where I will no longer consider using U-Haul for my moving needs despite being a customer through family paying for a truck to help me move to my first apartment to purchasing my own rentals multiple times for other moves over the course of the last 7 or so years, with my most recent experience before this being using a U-Haul to move into a the home I now own. Thriught this ordeal, I had 3-4 bars of 5G service the entire time, but the U-Haul app on my Android phone kept timing out (I've attached an image of the error message that came up once despite the upload seeming to fail multiple times). It took me over an hour to get through the sign in process, standing in direct sunlight in 80+°F weather with a high UV index, and when I finally completed the registration, the key was not in the lock box and was being held by an employee of the garage behind the front desk. Fortunately your representatives on the phone were very helpful and stayed on the phone with me until I was handed the key. The employee of the garage claimed that he loaded the truck with the blankets and dolly himself and the U-Haul coordinator did not tell him he was supposed to put the key in the lockbox. It was very fortunate that the garage itself was open until 5pm and that I was able to get through the registration process by bypassing the faulty Android application and using the website on chrome (which did not ask for my location as usual, your representative had to walk me through the process of how to change location settings on the Chrome Android application) a half hour before they closed despite my pickup time being scheduled for 3pm. I was heavily delayed in my move and ended up needing to cancel other important plans due to these issues, on top of being burned by the sun and becoming dehydrated while I triying to go through the on-site registration process. The truck itself was disgusting and unsafe. There was animal hair in the cab (visible in an attached photo) and it smelled like urine. There were wood shavings and screws scattered throughout the back of the truck. The steering wheel was decayed to the point that my hands were covered in black rubber after driving. Cigarettes had been out out on the cupholder, leaving melted plastic and burn marks. There was a crack in the windshield with a chip the size of a dime missing. I did not dispute the condition of the truck due to the (literally) painful process of registering onsite (despite having already pre-registered with the same photos and information requested for the on-site registration) as I feared it would delay me further or even end up voiding the contract due to the poor condition of the truck, leaving me with no way to complete my move. I have attached photos of the actual condition of the truck when picking up, verifiable by time and location metadata in the photo files and the garage being in the background of a photo taken from the cab of the truck. I would recommend you sever your connection with Helens Garage in Uxbridge due to the unprofessional actions of the U-Haul coordinator at that site. I will be severing my relationship with U-Haul due to the issues described above. Sincerely, A former U-Haul customer. This is what I sent to Uhaul in an email with pictures attached. Such a terrible experience overall. Helens Garage may not be responsible for my issues with the app/website, but the truck was the most disgusting vehicle I've ever driven or even sat in. I don't have high expectations for U-Haul, but your "service" was totally unacceptable.

Rachael LI was a bit weirded out when they asked me to pull the truck out myself, as it was squeezed in between to other big trucks. And there was some trash in the side door of the truck, but I cleaned it out when I was done. Overall, I was happy that they had a truck available with 15 minutes notice. That did save the day.

Leon HMy experience at this location was very good. Unfortunately this is not the location of the rental I reserved. I reserved a rental cargo van for pickup on Monday Jan 2,2023 at Upton Getty, 115 Main St, Upton, Ma. I arrived for pickup, the van was there but I was told the person who handles rentals was not. I was redirected 12 miles away to another location and a more expensive truck rental. I was never contacted at any time with this situation. I am very upset, but happy and find this service unacceptable.

Fernanda SYour cancelation period IS VERY unnecessarily short...Pain in the ass. Your APP stinks too, too many hoops, and NO thank you. Helen's is friendly, but after-hours pick up and return, using APP sticks.
Michael MFirst of all this was not the original location. U Haul could not fix a flat tire on the original reservation days before I actually was scheduled to pick it up. Instead of transporting a trailer to the original location I had to drive further away to get this one. Trailer was full of debris which I had to remove before loading my motorcycle. Break light not working on driver side. I was told it was 50% working so it’s ok. Ramp is not long enough for motorcycles with low frames so it will BOTTOM out Which it did and broke my kickstand spring. Don’t rent it with cruisers or you will regret it. Customer service is terrible period at U Haul but the person at the rental location was pleasurable
