SHAUNA RWe ddi the person free - online pick up and drop off. We ordered pads and they were not in the truck. The key in the lock box that we were told to open was for a different (size) truck. The store was closed for lunch but we were able to finally get someone to get the right keys and to get the moving pads. The system was also problematic as it would not let us check in until we were at the space and then it asked for verification that I did not bring. The email should have it up top, as it is a simple 1,2,3 graphic that does not mention you will need something else. You need to fix that.
MICHAEL OI was called one day prior to my move to inform that the 26’ truck I had booked wouldn’t be available at the location I chose to pick it up. I had to change to a 20’ truck (had to make two trips to complete my move). When I arrived at the store to pick up the 20’ truck, a 26’ truck was parked there. When I returned the 20’ truck a few hours later, the same 26’ truck was still parked at the location. The store didn’t have enough moving blankets either, I had to take fewer than I planned.
Giorgio BI was quoted $189 and when my husband picked up the truck it was over $300. Never again will we use U-Haul.

Paul RChange out the wooden tie down bars with metal latching bars to actually be able to secure the goods that are being moved! The wood is not really sturdy enough and you cannot use ratchet straps with a wide hook because it needs to be flat enough to fit behing the wood.
