There were 2 ladies in the office. The older one seemed to be new since she kept asking the other lady questions. The other lady was rude not only to her but to me. She handed me the wrong key and acted like I was brainless when I told her the key wouldn't fit in the ignition. If I had not needed the van I would have left and gone somewhere else another day. I do not recommend this site mainly due to the rudeness of that one employee.
Sales staff, not helpful and rude. No costumer parking on site. Office not open on time.
I got charge for bringing equipment back an hour late which I did not realize the time was important on my rental my move was entenze and stressful they should have understood. I was upset about but I guess that's business
The moving blankets and refrigerator truck was not available. The representative had a poor attitude and showed no remorse over not having the supplies for my move.
I needed a dolly to load one last piece of equipment. I filled out the rental agreement, used the dolly and returned it.
When I received my receipt there was no charge for the use of the dolly. Very nice, saved me an extra trip plus free use of the dolly.
The truck did not start. They needed to replace the battery and added 2 full bottles of engine oil (wasting 1 hour at the very beginning of the moving). The engine oil warning light came on anyway on half way through. I tried to reach the roadside assistance. Was put on hold for 20+ min (while keep hearing that my call is important). Overall, a very bad experience. Probably will not us U-Haul again.
The rental experience was definitely not the best. I requested an 8 hour rental and the text response I got was for 4 hours with a larger than requested vehicle. Customer service was contacted and I was given a smaller truck for 8 hours to be picked up at your Government Street location in Mobile, AL. I arrived to pick up the truck granted I was running an hour behind however upon arriving I had the displeasure of speaking with a very rude agent who informed me the truck rental was again only for 4 hours and then told me she didn't feel comfortable with me getting the truck back on time because another customer had it reserved for noon and refused to rent me the truck. She then found a truck at another location which she stated was available for the day and reserved it. I went to the second location and had the pleasure to work with an employee at the storage center Whitney who was absolutely fantastic. Rented the vehicle for the 8 hours and was on my way. Whitney did ask what time I anticipated being finished and I told her probably around 2:00pm. She stated if I didn't return the truck until after she'd left for the day to deposit the key in the window key slot and it would be fine. The truck was smaller than the 17ft truck I'd originally requested so I had to make a second trip to pick up the last items. At approximately 1:30pm I received a call from U-Haul asking if the truck was going to be back at 2:00pm. I informed the agent I wasn't finished and I had the truck for 8 hours. She stated I said I'd be done by 2:00pm after explaining to her what I was told concerning the truck she then asked what time I'd be finished and set a return time for 4:00pm. My problem with the whole ordeal is if I rent a vehicle for 8 hours and pay for that time I expect to be allowed to keep it for the allotted time. Understanding it was a Saturday and its a peak day for moving however as a customer I feel that I was being rushed solely for profit. By returning the truck early so it may be rented again and another person pay the full price for a daily rental for the same truck. I have used U-Haul several times in the past during my career in the military and never experienced such poor service. I doubt I will ever use your company again in the future based on this experience.
Friendly personnel and very clean office.
they don't ever answer and they don't call back if you leave a message .over billed me about $350.

The personnel at this location seemed annoyed and was not helpful. I was told not to come back.
I dropped the vehicle off after hours and I was charged for fuel even though we dropped off the vehicle with the correct amount. When I went back to the location the manager ( Teresa) argued with me about the amount of fuel in the tank even though I pointed out the amount to her in the vehicle. While I was on the phone with customer service she had already called and reversed the charges. I feel that if I had not returned and confronted her we would have had a fraudulent charge. Very unethical.
The lady handling the transition was not knowledgeable at all. Told he I wanted the 14.00 insurance and she tells me they don't offer that on this truck. I say yes ma'am the do and she say no they don't. I tell her I have rented this same size truck regularly for sometimes now n I get it every time. So I wasn't going to keep arguing with her over it. Once she got the the part about insurance low n behold y'all offer the 14.00 insurance!!!
Nothing.Everything went as well as possible at check out. The truck functioned well.
Excess mileage was accumulated due to uhaul drop off locations.
The attendant was awful. She tried to overcharge me. I had to call customer service. They were extremely helpful. They could not understand why the attendant had tried to overcharge me. I would not use this location again.
I reserved for 1:00pm. I didn't pick up until 3:30pm. On the return I was charged an extra day based on my reservation time. I don't think that's fair, sometimes unforeseen circumstances arises. And why isn't there any leway with return times? A whole day extra charge especially when there's a chance of no other pending rentals.
The u hual in Alexandria Louisiana where we stoped it off at was good and helpfully we got in a wreck in the truck I wasn't at fault tho but had to go out my way witch added a few miles on to the trip I paid for tho but other than that it was ok we or ok and nothing g major was broke on the truck
Arrived at Istorage 11:28 AM to return truck. Door locked at Istorage with out to lunch sign/ back at 12:00 on office door. 3 minutes later Istorage employe exits office door and asks me Whats up? I tell here I am here to turn in my uhaul truck. She replies" just leave it" I'm on my lunch time now. I replied "No I'll leave it here and come back to do the paperwork. I was back at 12:15 I got charged 58$ for returning the truck after 12:00
Have more people working on a busy Saturday. There was one girl and she was doing all she could do, but her computer was real slow.

Make access to my unit 24/7 instead of present times
The one woman worker read the gas gauge as 1/8th of a tank, when I returned it. I had stopped just a mile earlier and added $6.00 more gasoline to bring it to 3/8th of a tank. There were 5 characters: E (for empty), a line for 1/4, a line for 1/2, a line for 3/4, then F (for full). She was adamant that the reading between 1/4th and 1/2 was ONE-EIGHTH (1/8) and consequently charged me an extra $71.00 for fuel. Had to get her supervisor on the phone to teach her that simple math fraction. Amazing! She was not happy with my persistence that 3/8 was the actual reading.
You should ask for a review of uHaul company and not just of the locations.
U Haul charged me 60 dollars extra for returning the truck 90 minutes late. Thus is a poor business practice. I will try my best NOT to use UHaul again. If you care about these comments you will contact me and hear my experience first hand.
Had to hook up trailer by myself. Lady did not offer help or to find help. I am 100% disabled combat vet recovering from surgery and exceeded my limits to do the employee job.
have a good clean rentals, and someone who helps hook up. Have easy return service.
Air conditioning was on and off during the trip.
Associate was rude and uninformative. Conflicting times of business listed, a different opening time from the website.
Office was under renovation
The only comment I will make is the fact that the parking lot was being resurfaced when we arrived. Some planning could have directed me to deliver this truck to another location.
