We arrived at the location during business hours and no one was there and the door was locked. There was no sign on the door regarding a return time (i.e., maybe out to lunch). Fortunately, there was jack available on one of the other trailers that we could used to removed the 12X6 trailer from our truck. Not sure what we would have done had this not been on site. This is your typical U-Haul location, where renting trailers and vehicles is a side job.
Catherine BiegUhual last minute down graded my truck from a 15” to a 10”. Not once during reservation or check out did anyone mention the mileage allowed, which ultimately with my new down graded truck forced me to make 4 trips instead of 1 and charged me an additional $223. The mileage allowed is bull crap as my drop off location was 34 miles from my pickup location. Why it was automated to 23 miles only, is robbery. NEVER USING UHUAL AGAIN. BEWARE.

Robert RossWhen you go online to reserve equipment and you put all your information in the price that is quoted to you should be the same price when you go pick up the equipment. I was in the system and when I went to pick up the equipment it was double the price. They said it because it was one way but I put one way in the system. I don’t understand why it cost me double.

Ronald CardwellFirst when picking up truck all I was told by the store employee was to call the toll free number to find out what location to drop truck off. When I called the number I got a place on Montanna they transfered my call back to Mo. Instead I was talking to someone in AZ. I recalled the dealer back in Ofallon,Mo they finally told me where my drop off point was.By this time it was 4:00pm and the place was already closed the internet and local advertisement stated they would be open until 5:00 pm. I Just followed the after hours turn in. If this drop off place didn't have 2 trailers and 1 truck in parking lot seen from the street a person would not have quess it was a U haul place , no signs.
Roger MeyerI couldn't change my original reservation, which was already paid for. After a week I emailed U-Haul Customer Service, evidently my original reservation NEVER cancelled! 2nd reservation pickup location was changed by U-Haul WITHOUT my knowledge or consent. So when I showed up at Johns Towing, as I had originally made the 2nd reservation pickup location they could not find me. I had to do a NEW 3RD RESERVATION, ended up paying $60 MORE than original reservation...then I get a text hours later saying I was delinquent in picking up. I called the phone number only to have the U-Haul rep ARGUE WITH ME. Long story short, we will never use U-Haul again.
Wendy Betsermake your agent be able to print my bill. Mkar your area field managger listen and not cut me off mid conversation and not reyurn phone calls,text, or emails. There behavior was rude behavior at least.
David GuckesUhaul needs to examine its fee structure. I have recently discovered I would have saved $160 if I had used a Home Depot truck. And would have had a check in in person It’s this is a large difference in price. I don’t see me returning to uhaul in the future for this truce if need
Barbara Baker1st off have equipment that 1 reserved & if not then notify them that it's not available before they arrive. I requested a appliance dolly & when I arrived no dolly & this caused me to have to drive an extra 2 hrs outta my way to get one which caused me to go over my rental time & i called to get extension & was told it would be another $48 cuz i wouldnt have it back on time which was ridiculous since the truck was only $29.95 daily & it wasnt scheduled for another customer during this time but I had no choice but to pay it. I will be moving again in next few weeks & I will prob be finding another service cuz i was dissatisfied with this.
LESA MESSEXYou need to inform customers to check in online before they drop keys. I didn’t know I had to put in miles and then I was charged an extra $20. Plus, I drove 9 miles and I was charged with appx 9 gallons of gas? I’m not happy at the way you add extra charges.

ANTHONY ANDERS24/7 Uhaul system had wrong location entered and was not able to scan the bar code at pick up location until 30 minutes were spent on phone trying to get location changed. Later found knife blade broken off in Box #2 where it appeared someone had vandalized trying to retrieve keys for truck on lot. Not a good experience and delayed us 1.5 hours.

Diane Hinesowner demanded that I go take a picture of gas gage and odometer so he didn't have to get offof his fat ass to check the truck in. He never looked at the truck but charged me $7.xx for something , I never found out what the charge was for.
mike talbertIt wasn’t the location, but the frustrating check-in process. It wasted a lot of time while “verifying” me by calling two numbers I have them, which is nonsense verification. I could give the phone numbers for anyone.

derek winstonI don’t see how Uhaul stays in business. I rented on a Saturday, $39.95 for 8 hours. Just because the location is closed when I turn in the vehicle, I get charged an after hours fee? For what? Mobile drop off didn’t work so I spent 45 minutes sitting in the parking lot on the phone with Uhaul trying to return the vehicle so I didn’t get charged for the whole weekend which I’m absolutely sure would have happened if I hadn’t spent time I didn’t have to do that. $1 per mile? $40 for the rental, 300% more for “fees”. You aren’t the only game in town. I’ll be taking my future business elsewhere.

We had to figure out how to hook the trailer up on our own. Tiffany Canaday was awesome at the St. Louis office though. She helped us as much as she could from the office.
Madison DarnellYour online process could be way faster. It took over 30 minutes and me calling the customer service number while waiting for approval. I wanted my truck as close to 8 as I could get it and I got my truck at 830.

Robert PraterBooking was a nightmare. I was forced to rent from a location 17 miles away, despite making the reservation in advance. I replied to question why my location had been changed, and received a call back and voicemail from someone who was rude, and left no phone number to call back. My move was a total of 1.6 miles from one point to another, but I was forced to pay for mileage because a truck wasn’t made available at either of the locations that were local for me. Then I was charged for extra fuel, making my rental $94 for one day of use to move myself 1.6 miles. Very disappointed.

Tyler CoughlinWhen I went to pick up the equipment the mechanic was the only one there and he did not know how to check out the equipment. I didn't get a copy of my contract it was emailed to me and since I'm moving I have no way to print it off yet. Make sure the business is staffed with knowledgeable people.
