Erica VWas surprised to see I was charged for an extra 2 gallons of gas even though I refilled to the specified mark. Even if I did somehow miss the mark, how does 13 miles driven equal to nearly 4 gallons of gas?

ARMELLE FOwner of the affiliate location (gas station) incredibly rude towards me an other customers just getting gas. The only truck available had an engine light on for a faulty tire pressure sensor. Clearly has been an issue prior to me renting the vehicle. However the gas station attendant when I dropped it off at night was incredibly pleasant and friendly.

Frank DBetter customer service!!! This guy wanted a full tank gas after the truck was already filled up because he wanted filled at their gas station! Ridiculous!! Very rude and poor customer service! Wouldn’t recommend this place to no one! Go to Quincy Ave their staff are nicer and go above and beyond for you! This location you get drive to stop and shop to pick up the truck and then you drop it off to them walking back to stop and shop to pick up your own vehicle smh!!!

John DStaff was not terribly friendly and the truck had multiple odd issues while driving. Pulled hard to the right, struggled when downshifting and had a noise like something was loose.
Xander LThe gas tank was never "topped off" by previous user, and I ended up putting in 2.5 gallons for a 6-mile trip (should have only been 6 10ths of a gallon - I was getting 10 MPG on my errand. The clerk argued with me, but checked the odometer and confirmed I had driven only 6 miles. He was quite unapologetic.

Mary JTruck was not at station for inspection when staff was notified of defective equipment they refused to note issues. After an argument, the finally place small x where dents and broken equipment was noted by customer. They still would not note on contact. Staff was pleasant, but not accountable. Would not recommend.

Then the guy tried to convince me I had to refuel at his gas station which was 3.55 gal so I filled It up down the street for 3.34 and they were giving me crap for not refueling there saying I had to. I told them no I don’t just need to return the truck full and you could see the distaste
Jeff VWay too inconvenient of a location. Had to go into a gas station with no parking to fill out paperwork, then cross Route 3A at a busy light/intersection to get the truck itself. Then had to cross back to pick up the dollys. There were no small four wheeled furniture dollys even though I booked and paid for one online, but they offered me a giant, heavy, cumbersome appliance moving dolly for no charge, even though I had no use for it. The two old dudes who were working seemed more invested in their lunch order from Wendy’s than filling out my rental form, and neither of them wore a mask. Pretty awful experience overall.
Eric FI would like to see improvement of some of the staff attitude toward customers. I'm not sure if one of the staff was having a bad morning, but greeted me with an angry tone. The staff member that was helping me was a little nicer.

Naveed SIt was hard to tell from the road where I was supposed to go: signage was low and the truck was parked across the street. Maybe add a location note on the site to clarify this location is attached to a gas station.
Victoria PThe staff was excellent, the truck smelled like someone was sleep inside for a week, the back smelled even worst. The side mirror was broken and there was no backup camera for a pretty large truck. When I got yo the location I had to drive around several times because the signage was hard to find and there were no trucks out front they were parked in the back across the street, also for some odd reason when I made a reservation it made 3 separate ones and it charged me for the safe driver insurance when I declined it online.

Deborah DWell I had begun a mobile order for a truck/van rental but I was required to wait until I got to the location to finish the order. The KBR attendant was very helpful, and wicked friendly. He offered to complete my order but the UHaul system wouldn’t let him pick up where I was within the reservation so he had to start his own, but then the system was confused by my several orders, I believe the system created an additional bunch of orders or accounts. The KBR attendant was able to work through the challenges the system presented to him. So my suggestion would be to program the system to allow any UHaul authorized employee, and or agents, such as KBR, to simply pick up, and, or modify a current order without the need to duplicate so many additional unneeded ones.
Kevin CI have and will continue to tell everyone I meet not to use the mobile pickup - it is a horrifyingly terrible customer experience. This pickup location, however, was great and I would definitely use again in the future.

When I went to return the van, I was told by the employee "Eddie" that if I did not buy gas from him, he would either charge me "for a full tank" or not get checked in and he "wouldn't be responsible for what happened to the van if I left it there." I felt that if didn't buy gas, he would damage the van. I ended up being forced to buy $1.06 of gas to be able to leave. I felt extorted and worried about my credit card being accessed by "Eddie." Even the briefest of google searches would bring up hundreds of complaints about this place. Why is Uhaul still doing business with this contractor and allowing them to scam people. I will NEVER use Uhaul again.
