The location in hilo was great, but when I got to the location in kona to load up my u-pack containers(that I paid 7000$ to have shipped to my address, then they refused to do it) I couldn't locate my containers and the office was closed due to staff shortage. I'm really terribly unhappy with all of it. But the office staff in hilo was very helpful and friendly. They did great.
Vanessa SI was told I could pick up at 730am with mobile check in but the option to pick up was not showing on my app or online and the office I called was not able to tell me the combination to the lock box outside. I had to wait till 8 for them to open and wasn’t able to utilize my laborers because we were late. The guy said I could’ve called the office to get the code (which I did) but they could not help for half hour trying to get it.

Eric MBryson has excellent customer service, went above and beyond what he needed to do when I had some issues picking up the rental van and getting the keys . Very happy!
Craig MBryson was very helpful from beginning to end. The rental van was clean, and was big enough to make our move. Highly recommended for anyone moving in the Hilo area.

Sharla TThe young man that handled pick up and return was less than friendly. He offered no information until asked. When I asked if they wanted truck returned with a full tank is when he says “it only has 1/4 tank now”.which was an inconvenience to fuel before starting my move. I also needed to ask him how damage on truck was documented or if I needed to do it myself
blake gInterior of van (especially cab) was dirty with dust on the floors and dust/fuzz on the seats. I did include photos of this. I also found a McDonald’s cup which had not been cleaned out. I should have taken a photo of that as well but just threw it out for them instead. Also the U-Haul person was not at his place of business during business hours when I picked up the van and the U-Haul app was glitching. Luckily the 24/7 U-Haul phone customer service person helped me. I picked up the van with 1/2 a tank of gas and returned it with 3/4 of a tank. There was a small amount of concrete dust from hauling a closed concrete bag in the back of the van on the removable mat. I did wipe most with my hand. I attempted to located their trash bin but was in a rush as my Lyft driver was waiting so I left it by the key drop off. I was then called and yelled at aggressively by the owner which was very frightening as I am a female. He then text me a harassing message and was very unprofessional. I do not want further customers to have to deal with this person in the future. He will not get my business again and I certainly would not recommend him to any neighbors or friends on island. Thank you for your time.
