Fairlea RI was missing not only all the blankets I paid for, but the furniture dolly as well. And I'm pretty certain EVEN THOUGH I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE EMPTY TRAILER AND MARKED THAT THE EQUIPMENT WAS MISSING I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR IT. NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL YOU CON ARTISTS.

JON LThe cargo space in the truck was nearly a foot shorter than advertised and the steering needed serious work. The steering was so sloppy it was scary to drive and I didn't dare go over 45.

Michael GOne suggestion, maybe explain the online rental steps BEFORE the customer arrives for pickup. Especially the step where you DO NOT get the key to the truck until the Credit Card is processed. Your single sentence wasn't enough of a highlight, and I spent a few minutes trying to find the key

john bQuoted on number 14619827 $2917.08 plus 98.00 for insurance. My actual bil charged was over $3300.00 including insurance. I should have stuck with Penske which overall was $ 1000. cheaper.

Christopher MI just don't have words for what I feel about this experience. Very negative. I will never use this third party location for a Uhaul rental again and I will certainly not be recommending it to anyone.

Scott SActually supply the equipment I pay for. Paid for an appliance dolly and never got it. Had to move two stoves, two dishwashers, and two fridges up and down stairs by hand. Not pleased. Also, had to wait 20-30 minutes to return it because you wouldn’t answer the phone about the fact I never got the dolly.
Colton WThere were no concerns. It was pretty straighforward. I came in without a reservation during business hours. I provided my personal information and recieved the vehicle. After finishing my move I dropped my key off the same day.
Marcus RPick up was nearly impossible because the cell service in this area is garbage and there isn't wifi. I actually called the store in Greece, NY and the helpful clerk was able to get me checked in and get moving a full 40 minutes after I arrived at my pick up time.
Kaylynne Wdid not remove snow around or on vehicle. windshield wipers were not the correct ones for snow, the back door to the truck had problems opening and the truck pulled to the right.

Larry HThis specific store was unorganized and inconvenient. I showed up on time to pick up my truck and when I opened my lockbox there was no key. So then I proceeded to have to sit on hold, then wait for an area manager to come to the store to cut me a new key. This was a huge inconvenience and I will never be renting a U-Haul from Lakeside Automotive again. However I will say that the U-haul area manager was very helpful and I appreciate him and the good job he did.
Josephine BI put the key in their UHaul dropbox #1 (along with the receipt for the gas to show I replaced what I used), but somehow they couldn't find the key the next day and blamed me. This was after they called me to verify that I did indeed put the key in the dropbox. I don't know what they did with the key, but for them to charge me a $75 locksmith fee plus an additional $35 for an additional day's rental rental for their mistake is just ridiculous. I took a bunch of pictures of the truck when I returned it to show that I didn't damage it in any way, but I didn't realize I should have taken a picture of me putting the key into the dropbox as well! I'm currently disputing the additional $110 charge on what should have been an under $50 rental.
Erik RLocation did not put in my 24/7 reservation so I was not able to pickup my truck at the reserved time and I had to wait until the next day. When I picked up the truck the next day, none of the employees were wearing masks.
Emily GThe customer service was subpar. I felt like a nuisance rather than a customer. The representative seems preoccupied with other things and not interested in serving my needs. On the other hand, once he gave me his attention, he seemed knowledgeable and was helpful getting the equipment attached to my vehicle. Again, once I had his attention, he also processing my payment quickly and efficiently.
Kody YMake sure the code for the boxes to pick up keys is correct. Make sure the key that is in the box is matched up with correct truck that the website says it’s assigned to.
