Was over charged for gas, then credited back. Was over charged for miles and no explanation given. Called the dealer numerous times to solve issue over the phone however no answer. When I arrived at the dealer there was no customers at all. Had to wait over 30 mins at dealer to resolve issue. Would never recommend anyone go to that uhaul dealer.

Sloan FIt was a complete ripoff, that I had to pay over $400 dollars just to drive 1 1/2 hours home from San Diego one way. Would never do it again.

Raeanna MFunny, technology is supposed to make our lives better, cough-cough. I booked my reservations to the Liquor Store on Ulric St. To find out it’s now double booked. And now I’m sent to Mission Valley’s Uhaul. But, every time we go online, there’s no reservation ID-ing me!? Weird. Then, getting closer to the Uhaul in Mission Valley, the “Dead Zone” kills your Phone’s GPS, WHAT!? Now, I parked the Van and load it up. Now ready to leave . . . Dead Battery! Ya, someone pre-Turn the auxiliary LIGHTS On! Can’t see THAT during the daylight. NOW we had to jump the Van. Really! Why would you guys turn the Lights on? Dumb. Funny, Huh?

Kyle TThe vehicle was dirty and had to be cleaned by myself. The cargo floor was sticky from some previous rental and had not been checked or cleaned by UHaul staff. This vehicle had over 106,000 miles on it which certainly did not inspire confidence. The storage facility should have been cleaned up of litte on the ground areas. Seems like the staff has nothing to do but play on their phones... I'll be looking elsewhere next time when renting a like vehicle.

Gary HI never drove 50 miles which the employee initally charged me (I drove 40 miles total) and after I rented a van for 4 hours (Returned after 2.5 hours) he charged me $75+ total with 3 gallons of gas that I have not soent. In addition, the van that I have rented with filled with foul odor and smoking buds inside the car. Never again, I am using Uhaul from this site nor use the Uhaul overall. Extremely disappointed and working almost like a fraud company with no clear points to customers how we are being charged.

JOHN SThe guy told me to take it to another location right at closing time. He said the other location had more room but it was just as small on Google maps and hard to get to. Terrible customer service.
David CI was a little nervous about the location after reading some reviews stating that it was pretty run down, but immediately upon my arrival despite the look of the building the people running it knew exactly who I was and prompt to make sure that I knew what I was doing and helped to answer all my questions. The truck was in great condition and all the pick up and drop off instructions/ process was easy.

Carissa CThe location was pretty much a shed. I waited in line for a few moments behind another customer who was talking to the staff member sitting behind the cashier desk. Meanwhile, another staff member came from outside, approached me and asked if I was dropping off. I said yes. He then said he could take my key and that I was all set. I dropped the truck and key off to the location by the end of my reservation, but my reservation wasn't closed and processed by the staff until a half hour later. This resulted in a charge on my card for an extra day of use of the truck.

After another employee hooked up the trailer, I went to check the lights but he told me they were good. The next day, while driving, I discovered one of the lights was actually not working. The only reason I felt safe driving in the fog was because my wife was in a car behind me.

Miguel CPlease check the keys before sending the customer off! The ignition had been re-keyed, so the key we had did not unlock the doors and we needed to call Roadside Assistance to make us a new key to get back into our vehicle. Other than that everything went smoothly.

azmy kI attempted to notify that I would be arriving to return the truck a moment after 5 PM I arrived at 5:02 PM. The gates were locked. The app was painstaking to do the after hours Return. As a consumer, I would appreciate the customer service being able to inform the local provider To hold the door and not forcing me to use the app. Which took me 35 minutes to load and fill out versus with the human. It would’ve been only five minutes of my time. U-Haul needs to pay attention to their customers check in and out time not just their labor cost.
