Joshua SothThe truck was cleaned but there were several maintenance issues we noted with this older truck. We were glad it was a short trip. We do not recommend this vehicle for long trips. It was very difficult to remove the keys from the ignition, if not impossible at times. The steering wheel has way too much play in it.

David ChappelleYou add $14.00 insurance after I told you I did not need it and signed the form that I did not want it. Then you charged my card $53.07 on the April 22 the day I picked it up then you charged me for milage when we only used less than 40 of the 153 miles allotted for that trip. Then you charged me again on April 24 ....all in all a $30 rental turned into $191.42 move. I made the reservation with the regional office because of poor ethical practices by Perry in the past. So when I notified them on April 25th of the shenanigans they were able to refund me $30. I would love to say do not rent from these people but it's the only option now our Friday Harbor u-haul has closed down . So please if you do rent from this location. Do the rental through the regional office. Please make sure to check ,double check and triple check your receipt and your bank account even days after you drop off.
AKARYA AhimsaMake the mobile/online remote pick up easier to use with a clear path to go down from the website and within accounts. It was clunky, led me in circles, at one point switched to spanish which I could not undo even with customer service phone help, had to log out and log in many times to make work.

Ronald RamosI had trouble getting traction on the steep gravel roads in my area. The truck was fairly new but digs holes in the road when the steering wheel is turned even a little. Please upgrade the drivetrains on future trucks to include positraction at a minimum and possibly even 4x4 as well.
Gregory PrzygodaTruck did not have functioning headlights. I did not discover this until I was driving off a Ferry boat at night and was unable to see the road - it was a dangerous situation. To add insult to injury - I was charged for "top up gas" when I replaced the gas to above the previous level.

Michael SkaarCustomer service was terrible. The two men at this location were very rude. The guy who received me, didn’t even explained anything to me, just gave me the key, and when I stayed there waiting he reacted very rude. This is my first time renting uhaul, the truck was perfect and it served well, but the workers need to improve manners and treat customers with attention, care, and respect. It almost seems like since they are the only ones here, they don’t even care, because after all, we need the service and we’ll go to them anyways.

And doing remote pickup could not be completed due to internet issue at that location. This delayed our start time by 3 hours. The employees were wonderful and very helpful once it opened.

Steven LelievreIts not the location that is the problem. The location is great It is the UHAUL reservation system that is the problem. When reserving a certain sized truck, one NATURALLY assumes and counts on it being there and ready for pick up. The truck we ordered was not available and consequently sent us scrambling to find a moving truck. We ended up having to hire MOVERS, which we did not plan on doing. VERY disappointed with the U HAUL reservation system. Please figure out a way to have a reserved truck THERE and ready when expected. THIS was a SHOCK TO US!! And ended up costing us a LOT more money which we did not want to spend. The people at this pick up location were very helpful- and its not their fault. Its the UHAUL company's system. Terrible.

CHRISTOPHER PIDGEONThe driver’s seat wasn’t adjustable, but I made it work. I did have a 25-minute hold time when I called to report the seat issue. It wasn’t a problem for me but would be for someone shorter who couldn’t reach the pedals. Overall great experience.

Wasn't necessarily expecting a reduction in the rental charge but if I'm doing no-contact app-based 24/7 service why did I get charged?

LINDA HAMMONSI looked online 10 weeks ago and was told the price for my one way rental trailer would be $338. When I went to reserve one a couple of weeks later the price had jumped to $825 and they wouldn't give me a guarantee on a reservation. They would let me know 24 hrs in advance if they would have a trailer. They told me that my trailer was available but I had to drive 50 miles to get it and pay for a ferry trip. I know they might have a shortage of trailers but a jump in price from $338 to $825 is just taking advantage of customers. If they could make money renting for $338 a jump to $825 is out of line. I didn't need a truck this time or I would have rented from Penske.

Robert FreemanI suppose that this new internet self pick up and drop off is, or could be, convenient for some but in my case (most likely all my fault) it was a complete failure. If it had not been for the owner of the Mt. Baker facility I would have not been able to rent the van. He was a life saver!
