Susan OCullThis was a great rental location. Shawna is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Everything went exactly as planned. She also does an outstanding job keeping the trucks clean. The cab was not just “cleaned” it was spotless. No dirt, mud or even minor stains anywhere. Even the floor mats looked like new. Really appreciated her help and care for the equipment.
Tim HowlettI had originally reserved cargo van and apparently the cargo vans were no longer being used. I never received gmail from u haul letting me know that the cargo van was going to be replaced by truck. I found out when I went to pick up. Fortunately they had a truck available for us to use. I made reservations fir van back in May. U haul needs to inform renters is this happens ahead if time by call or gmail.
Keli RameyThe truck had two dollies, which I didn’t rent, and furniture pads, which I also didn’t rent. One dolly was unsecured and slammed around in the box until we got it home and removed it. The box absolutely reeks of something foul, though. We tried to spray it clean but the truck doesn’t fit in any of our local DIY car wash bays, so it wasn’t much help. I think the smell may be in the furniture pads. Truck was clean inside when we returned it, but is parked on gravel, following heavy rain today, we tracked gravel dust ito the cab with no way to clean it out at dropoff, as we had already cleaned it out before returning. There is a LOT of play in the steering, which is relatively normal for a rental truck, but it was. Chancy on narrower roads.

Keli RameyThis applies to the overall experience and has nothing to do with either the pick-up or drop-off location. When I make a reservation for a rental, it would be super helpful to have that reservation be honored and not have to take 1 1/2 hours out of my day to drive to a different location to pick up the truck. Someone from U-Haul could have picked the truck up and brought it to the original rental location, which is, after all, where I made the reservation.

Patrick Hoyelocation was excellant, but customer service thru corporate is terrible! I asked for a call back, your call dropped….no attempt to recall! I am 6’1” and weigh 400 lbs. There is ABSOLUTELY no indication that your trucks are UNDRIVEABLE for larger individuals……I had to make last minute adjustments for driving the rental, almost destroying our moving plans! You should include on your website that you must be a 5 ft, anorexic contortionist to comfortably drive your trucks…….NEVER AGAIN!

Thomas OrrWe did not receive AND were billed for furniture blankets. I provided notes during checkout that I did not agree with the pricing and why ($20 fee for moving blankets we didn't get) and got no response just an updated charge to match up with mileage and daily rate. Very disappointed with the UHaul pick up site.

Dave PoppThe location wasn’t aware that our pick up location had been changed therefore the check in process took much longer than usual. The truck had a lot of damage - searches and dents. Parking lot is small and difficult to navigate. There isn’t really anywhere you could leave your car if you needed to. The truck was backed up into woods which made it difficult to inspect prior to taking it.

I was told pick up at 9 then got there and none there they don't open till 10 they sent an email but I don't check my email often so I didn't get it also they didn't have my small truck that I wanted so they gave me a bigger one that I paid more in gas but I had to have it next time I would not rent from u haul or tell anyone else high price and higher because your unorganized that cost me money. So unsatisfied
Shannon BranniganNot what I expected from a uhaul store at all. I will choose Penske for future rentals for my company. Truck was a 2007 bad brakes not clean Beat us to death all the way to and from Louisville. Positive reviews on this website for this location must be family members or paid for. They are doing your company a terrible service. Polite people there but can’t do receipt can’t use a computer, and once you pay they don’t want to help. I am not a keyboard warrior, ever. This location should sell used kids stuff and be removed from the other part of the business of renting uhaul products.
John BockenstetteHonestly, this was the first time I've ever rented a U-Haul and I will most certainly be using this location again in the future. Dana went above and beyond for us, and was such a pleasant person to work with. If I would have known how quick, easy and convenient it would be to get a U-Haul I would have definitely rented a truck the last time we moved. The Newborn 2 Teen U-haul location really was great, and we appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff was.

When I went to refill the truck seemed excessive for the amount I drove, and when pump was done gas started pouring out from under the truck. I was able to drive back by scheduled time, but let uhaul know as I put in for roadside assistance.

DANIEL MONAHANI think the way you guys advertise is definitely deferent on we paid,it doesn’t make sense to pay $14 for your and not excepting my insurance to cover it with no charge and I have to pay $0.75 per mile that should be part what I paid the $29 It’s a joke and you guys is taking advantage of people I won’t recommend it

Brent SmithI would never rent from the newborn2teen location. Was told I could leave my car in the parking lot while I rented a cargo van for the day. I was called a few hours into my 24 hour rental and told rudely by Dana to come back and move my car or it would be towed. She said i was blocking trucks coming in to park. I informed her that I was told I could park in lot and there were no signs or anything to tell customer where to park. She lied and said there were but I made sure to video the lot when I rerurned. When I got there the parking lot was empty and continued to be all night. I was not parked in the way of anyone. No signs whatsoever. No markings on the gravel to indicate where to park. I had planned to move a person then drop van off on my way home later that night after getting person moved and settled. Instead I had to drive 20 miles back to drop off van and then drive my car back to where the person I moved was, then drive the 20 miles back home. Not to mention the 2 hours it cost me in time. I contacted uhaul but no results. This location needs to be checked. Whole building and lot look shabby. Garbage piled behind building. Don't know how Uhaul lets them represent company. Don't know what power trip she was on making me come back to move my car for no reason.
Gigi donleyI will never pickup at a location without someone to help. We almost couldn’t get the lock off. Too a lot of time taking pics of scratches on the truck. The check gas cap light was on even after us reseeding it 3 X. Check engine light was on. Called service center and they said it should be fine since it was a local trip or I could pick up another one at a different location. Already spent an hour getting this one. Everything was just too time consuming.

Helen PriceThe lady that we talked to was really nice but the truck I rented needs an alignment, it kept pulling really bad. We did let them know and hopefully it gets fixed but other than that we got what we needed to get done with that same truck. Will be back if need be.
