Mark EThe other UHaul locations in Brevard would not let me return the rental to them. They said they only take trucks. That made it inconvenient to have to drive out to Rosman or Hendersonville to drop off the trailer.
Bruce DThe pick up location was great for us, but probably not for everyone. The trailer itself was in very poor condition cosmetically, and the overhead door was very difficult to operate, due to advanced wear. This was without doubt the worst – condition trailer we have ever rented from U-Haul or anyone else for that matter. It’s not the fault of the folks at the pick up location. It appears that U-Haul just isn’t keeping their equipment up to snuff anymore.

Molly CThis location was great. However, this was the third location I was at that morning. I had made a reservation at the Firehouse Towing, Brevard NC location for 9:30 am, but they were not open and had not called me, so I could plan ahead and use somewhere else. When I called Uhaul, all the computers were down. Ultimately, I was put two hours behind, and had to drive 20 miles extra to get the trailer.

Allen NEverything worked out great! No problems pulling the cargo trailer. Both locations were quick, painless and cordial.
David RVery disappointed. Rented to pick up in Cashiers, NC only to arrive to find out it had been switched to an hour away…. Was charged $50 cleaning fee for not folding blankets. Big waste of our time and resources to have to drive so far to pick and return rental. No one at Uhaul seems to care!

Samantha FStore opened 20 min late. Took 20-30 min to checkout vehicle. The vehicle was old and filthy. The poor condition of vehicle is a uhaul issue. Most of their vehicles are this way. When renting uhaul wear old clothes then burn them when done.

kathleen tthe trailer was exactly what i needed. it was very easy to hook up to. the store owner/u-haul franchisee was very friendly and helpful in every way.. it's SO NICE to have a u-haul facility so close to where we live (in WNC mountains)!
Daniel SDid not have large boxes available. Medium boxes I bought had a heavy Oder of smoke. Trailer wheel hub was very rusty and did not look safe. Door latch and hitch were very rusty and I had to lubricate to get them to work well.

JOHNBYRON SI was over charged 120% from my last rental of the same equiptment, I rented the same 6x12 trailer in Feb. And Mar. For $109. This time it was $253. I called customer service and the supervisor would fo nothing, a long time customer !
TERRY BService was quick and simple. I was able to check in with the truck quickly and bring it back the same day with no issues. The managers on site were delightful. The truck needs some servicing. From my general inspection the truck needs further inspection or other replacements needs: * New brakes needed soon * Transmission was shifting hard * Tires may need rotating or replacing * Smell in cab was of rotten milk * Aesthetic repairs (scratches on side etc) Other than that, the truck ran well and was pleased with the service it gave us.

James ZPickup location was changed less than 24hrs to the pickup time. I did not receive any notice of the change and only found it when I logged into the Uhaul website to do the virtual check in for the rental. Spent nearly 1hr on the phone with CS just to get the run around. Pick up location changed to 43 miles/ 55minutes away and I had to fight to get some additional mileage added to compensate me for this screw up. I would have been more understanding of the scarcity of trucks had someone just communicated with me. Why would I think there would be a problem when I received and email 48hrs prior to my pickup time and date saying my reservation was "guaranteed". Poor customer service and poor communication leads me to have a poor experience with your company. The pickup location staff were friendly and helpful and this poor review in no way reflects their establishment.
nicholas hMy only trouble with this location is the smell of cigarettes inside. I think their days are probably numbered as a newer location has opened up a half mile away. However staff meet me outside and directed me to where I need to go. I appreciated that after 5 hours of sleep in 48 hours

MICHAEL CThe facility looks a bit run-down, but the vehicles appear to be well taken care of. The proprietors were very friendly and easy to deal with. I left my car there for the day, and they were absolutely fine with letting me do that. Overall, a good rental experience.
Dale WThe young lady at check in was very nice and professional. The older man was grumpy, short tempered. The truck brakes squealed, the inside drink console was filthy, and there was no windshield fluid in the reservoir.

ED KFriendly and helpful folks representing U-Haul.. Provided a secure place to park car overnight. Good range of trucks available allowed me to switch to larger vehicle than I had reserved.
