The service was not great. Location is part of a gas station so with only 1 attendant their priorities were for the gas customers. The units cab area was dirty, had a saw dust like material all over the front seats that we had to dust off so it wouldn’t get all over our clothes. The door locks were sticking and when trying to lock and unlock them it was stiff, need to be lubricated.

The trailer overall was in good condition. The only issue is that the trailer tongue Jack was difficult to operate and in need of some serious maintenance ie. lubrication

The guy (Mickey) did not know what the hell he was doing. He was supposed to give me back $101 but only gave me back $48. When I called back to talk to him about this matter, he said one moment and hung up one me. I went to the location and he was doing something and charged me another $101 instead of giving me the money missing from the first time. Then he called someone on his cellphone in Hindi the whole time then gave me his phone to talk to the person known his manager. She yelled at me over the phone and told me to come meet her at 9. Went to meet her and she showed me that the $101 was reimbursed but she did not understand that I am still missing $50 from his first mistake that was made when he was giving me my refund back. I would gladly appreciate getting my money back this was the worse experience of my life and i yet haven’t received my money back. I am down around $400 which was supposed to be a $130 trip. Ready to sue!!! Assholes

The attendant identified that the trailer had a leak in the corner, so some water got in. In this instance it didn't effect what I needed to move. The staff and attendant at this location were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend renting from here to anyone looking to use Uhaul.

The vehicle had was just been returned by another party the inside of the box was dirty and I was asked to take the blankets out which I was okay with doing. The client returning before me the two of them were in a heated argument. If there was another rental option in Tillsonburg I would use it. I was quoted $40 for a day rental I told her I only needed it for two hours at most she never gave an hourly rate. Then I took out insurance $16.95 and advised I'd be an additional $0.89/km. I drove 6 miles or 9,65 Kms was charged for 12.69 kms. I told her mileage when I picked up vehicle denoted ending in 971 and the return is 977. She states I have picture but never shows it. She didn't take one when I was there so who knows when picture was taken that she is noting. Then she said I had to fill up truck or be charged extra. It was at half when I picked it up and the gas hadn't moved but I put more gas in it just to take it past half. This lady was from the return end was nothing but rude and disrespectful perhaps it was due to the confrontation she had prior with the other customer ahead of me and I just got the rough edge as a result. I was told this lady is the owner so all I can say is lighten up and don't be so rude and disrespectful. Uhaul should step in and give this owner customer service training.

When a person requests a certain size truck for a certain amount of time , they should be able to get it. Not given a maybe at the last minute when you have no opportunity to make other arrangements.

Was very impressed with the service I received right from reservation to return. The vehicle was very clean and was in excellent condition. I was in a bind to pick up a bed I purchased and a van was just what I needed. The price was very reasonable as well. The dealer was also ver courteous and friendly. I will definitely be a return customer !

There was confusion on the amount of fuel that was needed on return. Not sure if it was my misinterpretation of info or the staff member who was busy. Still a good overall experience.

Trailer was not available when I got there. Had to take a different trailer. Person working the counter wad constantly stopping to do another task and had no idea what usage to put in for the trailer. Had to call another person to help. Waiting seemed endless, place filled with uhaul clients. I'm glad I was there first, or I would have not been happy in any way.

The lady I dropped the truck off to was kind of rude and dismissive. She quickly closed out my truck rental, but asked me to park the truck in a specific spot and when I told her I wasn't comfortable backing up the truck around the gas pumps and other vehicles she became visibly frustrated with me.

The van I ordered was available at the appt time and even though they were busy, the documentation process was quick. On return the service was quick and pleasant. I will rent at this location again.

It took so long. We only rented a car hauler. In the store for an hour. Major language barrier with the worker. Entered my credit car issue number rather than my expiration date and said “Declined” very rudely and judgmental. She was young and I saw her pointing at the issuing date when she was entering the data into the system. I politely asked her to double check that she entered the expiry date and showed her where it was on the card. She changed it and said nothing and handed my card back rudely. It was then accepted after she entered the correct number. Then when asking what kind of car we would be hauling I told her it was a Hyundai Elantra. She had no idea what I was saying and had to call for help to someone and she kept saying Honda civic. I kept saying no, Hyundai Elantra. This repeated 6 times. Then when she inspected how the trailer was hooked up, she told my husband he needed to twist and knot the chains. My husband is well versed with the ministry of transportation and towing laws and regulations and her directions and instructions were wrong completely. Brutal experience!

I'll never use Uhaul or recommend anyone to use them. Booked on the website making it seem like you have the truck even though they turn around and say we don't have your selected vehicle while they say we sent you an email advising we might not have the time, date or size you've selected. Had a truck confirmed, Uhaul cancelled. Asked for a 20 foot, they offered a 10 foot. They wanted us to drive over an hour to get a vehicle. Uhaul screwed us over and recommend no one use them so maybe they can get better service and not cancel after confirming. Someone obviously took our confirmed truck and customer service was of no help. The guy actually said I want to let you go so I can help other families. Horrible service all around!

They are running a gas station with one employee and I was made to wait to long. Treated as an inconvenience. When second person arrived they treated me as ibwas to do them a favour moving vehicle etc. No understanding of what kind of stress most people have experienced in moving. Wanted to make sure they had tobdobas little as possible.

The person in charge was absolutely miserable and beyond rude. She wouldn’t even bother to explain how feed were applied. We had no problem paying for it, but asked for a small breakdown of fees and she was beyond disgusting to deal with.

From ordering on line to picking up and returning the rented cargo van - everything went very smooth. Ideal vehicle for my moving needs. The staff at Petro Canada, Tillsonburg were very polite, conscientious and efficient and made my rental experience a satisfying experience.

Not much, being a Gas Station as well you need to be patient as they are dealing with 2 separate businesses at the same time.
