CHARLIE WRIGHTWell , it's not the pick up locations fault but, uhaul let the first location give my reservation away 2 days before pick up . Had to drive 80 minutes away to new location and at .89cents a mile I had to travel 70 miles round trip further away .. not acceptable! Also had to get a bigger truck that I didn't need ..the system that they have for the no contact pick up/ drop-off is shite! After rental and dropping off I had to retake pictures 37 times and it still didn't work , I ended up having to call and let uhaul know this and I wasn't taking anymore pictures.. will borrow my son's truck next time... WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE UHAUL AGAIN ! HORRIBLE UHAUL EXPERIENCE

Ethan WormuthWhen picking up my rental at Skips I was meant to check in online or through the app, however when checking in through the app I was never given the means of retrieving the keys from a locked box. If it were not for an employee who happened to be on site and helped me, the business was closed that day, I would not have been able to retrieve the keys.

SAMUELG WYANTThe truck was dirty inside and out,. Also just about every corner and the side of the truck has been hit. When I went to pick it up, there was a brake light and an alarm going off. It wasn't the parking bake warning. I had to call roadside assistance to find out that it from the wheels being turned to far or parked on an incline. Toke over 45 minutes to pick it up. It also was parked close to another truck and if you just turned and pulled away, the tail swing would have hit the other truck! I was picking it up in the dark. There is not sufficient light on the key lock box. Had to use my phone to see the combination lock. Just a total disappointing experience! I have pictures I would like to share of the condition and cleanliness of the truck. I can't believe that this vehicle was even rented. I usually don't complain, but completely unacceptable. Also they were going to charge a gas fee originally till I disputed it. I filled a concern and nothing was done. I will never rent another U-Haul unless it is my last resort! I still think that there should have been some form or compensation!
James HarperIn my quote, I opted out of the collision coverage because my auto insurance covers all rental vehicles but it was added to the final document that I signed before I realized it. Uhaul swindled me out my money. I will NEVER use uhaul ever again.

FATIMATAHIR IQBALHave the reserved size vehicle available when taking a reservation. Forced to take a larger vehicle at a higher price after 2 locations did not have the vehicle I reserved. Felt like I was being price gouged. Employee I dealt with was respectful, and the fault does not lie with him.

Melissa AllenFor some ridiculous reason they split my rental in two different U-Haul places ..who had time for that!? And I didn't even know it until I got there AND got there at two thirty two hours ahead and office closed!!! AND ridiculous self check in confusing as fuck check in process and then I see tow dolly there and my truck and stupidly do I do not take this j don't g get it.. where as the other people ...my uhual was not even originally reserved there way across town..but last second I get oh you gotta go here. Then....with no one around 2:30 in afternoon I got so confused by myself picking up a tow dolly trying to back up close trying to pull it myself...ridicy...but the worst part I got charged from one place and when they redo the bill since they didn't include the tow dolly at this place I got charged for 2 days of the tow dolly or $28 safe movie which I never agreed to and the only way they could add the tow dolly was by charging me for missing fuel which was a $30 charge and then they added like 75 $80 of fuel trying to rescue their tow dolly charge and I ended up with a 248 Bill from U-Haul and I will never use their services again especially 23 Reynolds Street!!!!!in Oneonta... They're confusing practices cause me almost double if not way over the cost of what it would have been an easy rental and the reason I had to get a truck wasn't cuz I had to move anything it was because they wouldn't allow my 2000 S10 pickup truck to pick up their tow dolly cuz they said it was too old she's a bunch of b******* it's an S10 Chevy pickup truck!! They just got you screwed coming and going....ripped me off!! N
eileen payneGary, the manager, personally well over the truck’s dashboard which was very helpful & not usually done by other rental locations. It was an important alert light/switch which affects the low gears operating. Find this very important detail to attention that makes this location outstanding.

Michael LevinsonThe location was not the issue. The issue was that when I went to get my truck, I was never given a code for the lockbox. When I called the 800 number, I was told I didn’t have a truck and couldn’t get a truck. 4 calls later (and over 2 hours) I spoke with Jessica in Albany who said I DID have a truck and was able to give me the code to get the keys. So the locations were fine- but your customer service though the 800 numbers and such is awful.

Donaled BiklaMy main gripe is being presented with an unanticipated $15 charge for cleaning the van, which was returned in the same state that it was taken. Such hidden charges are not a good way to do business.

DAVIDA JR DEFORESTSystem was having issues and employee didn't have much tech support with app. Gentleman before me was waiting so long that he changed his date of pickup and left. Overall employee was great and apologetic but I was very nervous that I wouldn't get my truck. Luckily that wasn't the case
