I will not recommend this place to anyone, the owner was soo RUDE he literally started pushing me and wanted to hurt me and wouldn't let me drop my keys at the drop off box. they were EXTREMELY RUDE!!! they completely refuse to have anyone drop a U-Haul truck at their U-Haul truck drop off location regardless of it being a. U-Haul truck drop off location!!!! I have never had any business owner come hit and push me around. they shouldn't be part of U-Haul! this kind of Fkn RUDE behavior shouldn't be taken lightly and actions should be taken against them! I've also submitted a formal complaint against them

Vehicle transmission was questionable at best. Mirrors were screwed in place and basically inoperative. We have rented from U-Haul in the past and this experience was very disappointing

Ive never rented a uhaul where they make you refold your blankets, put them back in the bag and carry them back inside. Does that mean they are never washed or cleaned???

It is time Uhaul in Canada fix their website to reflect the fact that we are on a metric system we do not use miles but kilometers and we use liters not gallons. This makes your receipt confusing and inconsistent with Canadians. Thank you for your time and attention.

Accurate reading for odometer. On the pick up receipt was one number on the odometer it was different. Called to make sure we were all on the same page

The people who provided the van doesnt care about customers. They gave us the dirty vehicle and at last they tried to scam us by claimingbthe money to clean the vehicle. They are very rude. This makes me never book an u haul. Please take an action against these scammers. They already have similar reviews on their google page.

Location was out of my way as it was not my first or second choice We questioned the tires for long haul drop for snow tires. There was low windshield fluid & windshield wipers needed replacing as we encountered rain & then heavy snow storm through SK

Your app and online self check in doesn’t work. What I was trying to do was avoid talking to anyone. What I had to do was sit on the phone for 30 mins to be told to go in and just talk to the person. If I can avoid using U-Haul for the rest of my life I’ll be a happy man

Tried to get extra $50 from my driver upon return. Confronted and shown gauges. Laughed and said he was kidding. Liar. After drop off your employee refused to let my driver wait inside the store. Wtf. It was freezing. That is discussing behaviour. Have dealt with this location before. Always rude. Don’t trust them either.

This is the second time I've rented there. The staff are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with, no issues and accommodating. I would encourage anyone looking to rent in the Abbotsford area to use this location for these reasonsd. Richard

I was extremely disappointed that when I returned the van and shared with the employee that the person before me obviously did not fill up the van because while the gauge showed full and I was told it must be returned full, The individual did not offer any remedy or even apologize for the situation. Here is what I shared with her happened. When I filled the tank for what was a 36km rental I had to fill up 13.407 litres ($23.05 cost) to make it full. I'm not an expert but your site states: What is the gas mileage of a 9' cargo van? Unleaded fuel Fuel tank capacity: 31 gal. Miles per gallon: 16 mpg 13.407litres for 36km of travel amounts to 7.6MPG (see below) so either there is something seriously wrong with your vehicle or I paid for gas I didn't use. Either way I'm not very happy about this situation. I do have a receipt for the gas and a picture of the pump both have date stamps so you can clearly see the issue is not mine. I would like Uhaul to address the fact I ended up paying more for my rental than should be considered "Reasonable" due to false instructions that I needed to "fill-up" the tank Trip: 36.0 kilometers Fuel: 13.41 liters L/100km: 37.242 L/100km = liters per 100 kilometers Equivalent Fuel Consumption Ratings MPG US = 6.316 MPG Imp = 7.585 km/L = 2.685 L/100km = 37.242

They said there was half a tank in the truck but there was only 3/8 of a tank. I forgot to take a picture for proof and I got charged extra for returning it with "less fuel" and pretty sure I got overcharged in general but the guy didn't email me the receipt like he said he was going to and he was very rude. I will never rent from this location again.

We ordered furniture covers and a appliance dolly, neither of which were present at the location. Having to find an appliance dolly last minute during a move is rough; moving without it sucked. The truck didnt have a light in the loading bay. Moving things out after it got dark was difficult without light. The side mirrors on the truck would not stay in place. I had to adjust them every 10 minutes to properly lane change... Overall, not very happy.

The manager could not speak English very well, almost not at all. I had trouble understanding him. Made the experience tense and I will rent elsewhere in the future.

The person at the counter barely speaks any English and being very rude and pushed me out of the store when I asked him where is your lock box. I selected the mobile return the truck and arrived at the store location at 10pm. I was searching for the lockbox based on the instruction on the phone for 30mins left center right but they didn't have one. I had to drive another 40 mins back and forth to return the key in the morning. The guy at the counter told me that they don't have a lockbox I have to return the key during regular hour. Wasted my time and the store should not be allowed to be an authorized uhual dealer. I will request a charge back on my credit card. It is laughable how they even have a store front for business.

Was only allowed the truck rental for 8 hours and had to have it returned because they don't have a night drop box. Was not given option to return the truck in the morning. Store attendant shorted me money on what was due back. Evening Store attendant was rude and said to call uhaul if I had a problem with how they did business.

The experience using the truck was perfect for what I was moving. Only set back was unloading at night the cargo box lightbulb was missing. I advised the owners.
