Anna RThe hours of operation according to the Internet and U-Haul‘s website are 10:30 AM to 6 PM. I was told to drop it off during their business hours. I go to work at 7:30 AM and could not drop it off before that because they were not open. I stopped to drop the unit off on my way home from work at 5:30 PM. The cashier at the gas station where this drop off location is admitted to me that she did not know anything about U-Haul, her exact words to me, and had to call someone else, not on property. The lady on the phone told me I owed 29 more dollars because I was late bringing it back. I tried to explain how U-Haul‘s website listed their hours and she told me I was wrong. This can be verified with a click of a button. There was also no one there to help park or unload the trailer. I’m a 48-year-old woman awaiting a knee replacement and cannot handle a 6 x 12 trailer by myself. No one was there to offer any assistance at all. And no one told me ahead of time that I would be responsible for physically unloading this 6 x 12 enclosed trailer alone. The woman on the telephone, who tried to tell me that I owed more money, was rude and hateful and told me there was nothing she could do about it. This was terrible customer service. Horrible business practice. I would never recommend this location to anyone for a pick up or a drop off. I finally enlisted the help of another customer who happened to be physically impaired and walking on a cane to try to help me remove the trailer from my vehicle. Thoroughly disgusted and unimpressed with U-Haul and with this specific location. I will dispute the charges on my card as I was not able to drop off the trailer before I went to work this morning because they were not open. If I were U-Haul, I would seriously consider revoking there affiliation/contract/whatever it is with U-Haul. This is not how a business should be run and I’m certain that U-Haul corporate would not want this as a representation of their company. I will never do business there again.
Aimee CThere was not the amount of gas in the truck that rep claimed. I took a photo of gas guage and showed proprietor of Railhouse Grill. She said I did not properly report this and nothing she could do. I did return the vehicle with half tank of gas in it. That’s what rep with uhaul told me. I did not want to be charged for gas so I put amt of gas that rep said was in it at rental.

Melody FEven tho the business we picked-up and rented our truck from was understaffed, it would have been beneficial for us and U-Haul if the rental agent could have done a walk around inspection of the vehicle before leaving. But, the over all experience from pick up to returning the truck was good. No problems. The vehicle was new and in excellent condition.
