My reservation was made in January for the Santa Monica UHAUL location. I received a call the day before the scheduled pick up and my location had been changed to downtown LA. This required an Uber trip that cost me $48. Not happy with the last-minute change, but I can’t really fault the staff at this location- very helpful.
Karen EI’ve used U-Haul over 10 times all over the country and this is the most expensive, inconvenient, and overall unpleasant experience I have ever had. The only thing I can say is that the people working were not rude, but it does not outweigh the incredibly horrible experience.

Aubrey GYou had me drop the truck off at a location with no parking. Having novice drivers figure out street parking, also very limited, is unusually poor service.

Jorge APlease clean the vehicles before renting. The truck cab was very dirty with sand, dirt, spills, sticky substances and bugs. Disgusting.
