Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with this van rental, which is a bummer since it's conveniently located where I currently spend almost $500/month for storage units. I was hoping to make use of the service more often going forward... For a van that barely had 5,000 miles on it, it seemed like it was in need of some maintenance. I had to put 20 psi of air in a few of the tires, twice, since it was a four-day rental. This took some time and I was already on a tight schedule. I also had to use my shop vac to clean out the van in my driveway before loading up since there was loose dirt and some stones in the cargo area (the seats needed it, too). Finally, as I was about to hit the road, I noticed a large oil leak had happened overnight on my newly paved driveway. A price adjustment would certainly be appreciated, especially since the rental cost me almost $500 +gas. Thanks, Jeff

Wasn't happy being double charged due to uhaul employees not doing there job. Paid for a truck and went to get the key and there was no key so had to call and explain and was given another truck but charged again. Still waiting to see if I get my money back.

No I would not recommend this location to a friend as when I got there during normal business hours the front office was closed a sign was hanging on the front door that said will be back at 2:30 and even at 2:30 no one returned to the office to assist anybody it was very unprofessional and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced with U-Haul before I will never recommend exit 16 U-Haul to anyone and I will never do business with exit 16 ever again unfortunately I also locked my phone in the The U-Haul and had already put the key in the dropbox and because there was no one at this location I had to wait hours for someone to come back who never came back and had to call you people a second time to finally get somebody to show up to assist me with unlocking the U-Haul so I can get my phone then I was also told because of my inconvenience in the passenger side rear tire that I was going to receive a discount on being low on gas and a little over on miles I was told it would be around $85 and now you people are trying to charge me 130 something dollars this experience with U-Haul was so unprofessional from start to finish I’ve never experienced a problem with U-Haul ever before but maybe I need to start thinking about using a different moving service in the future the vehicle was poorly maintained in the drop off location was unprofessional and unacceptable for a business when there is a specific drop off time for your vehicles not to have somebody at your location to assist somebody is ridiculous and unprofessional

Had to pick truck up in one location and the trailer from another. Driving cross country we needed to stop and get 3 trailer tires replaced because of steel wires showing. Very inconvenient but the repair shop was friendly and fast to get us going.

The hours posted online and in person said 9-5. We chose in person pick up but the doors were locked, lights off, and no one answering the phone. Had to call the 1-800 number to get them to switch to mobile pick up and when we dropped it off- no one was there still.

Uhaul changed my pickup location without notifying me that equipment was unavailable, 1 day before pickup after reservation was made 1 month in advance. Uhaul was not accommodating when trying to find a solution, and told me that reservations are not guaranteed. They did not provide equipment as requested, forcing me to search for furniture dollies day of and ultimately purchase my own. Truck was as described but did have a leak in the roof that ruined a carpet. Overall, Uhaul employees at this location were friendly and tried to help, but this is a poorly organized network with systematic incompetence.

There was something wrong with the truck. It screeched and the faster you drove the more it screeched. There was no one at the pickup location and we needed to use the truck that day.

the process could have been explained better at the time of setting up the rental I was never told that it was a ride share and was definitely not prepared to do all of the checking the truck out paperwork via the phone . Also your over the phone customer service was horrible ...

The location itself was great and the man who worked there was very helpful but I was frustrated with UHaul for sending me further out of my way to this location (my pick-up location was changed the day before) and then adding another 45 minutes to my pick-up time by sending me to a different location (in the opposite direction) to get moving blankets and a dolly because they weren't available at this location.
