When renting a truck to go some distance out of town, inform the customer that the truck only has a half tank of gas.

ERIC H.Thankfully I was able to modify my reservation to get a truck a day early and use it for two days. The maintenance of the truck is very poor. The check engine light was on and the truck was in desperate need of a front end alignment. I know that moving trucks are always in demand but that is no excuse for poor vehicle maintenance.
Heather S.I was charged twice, I'll be back in person to confront tomorrow. Also, I got the 10 foot truck to move things, what moving truck doesn't come with a ramp? The whole reason I got the truck is because I needed a ramp. Had to lift a washer and dryer with a dolly into a moving truck because it didn't have a ramp, absolutely ridiculous. Truck was also unswelled when I received it, yet there's a note inside, saying if I don't sweep it out, I get a cleaning fee? How ridiculous.

ERIC B.This experience with UHaul was terrible!! The service guy was the best part of it, he was nice. The rest is history. I took the U-Haul back that night after they closed. I was exhausted, so yes I was an 1/8 of tank short. Mind you I had just put $20 more dollars in the tank before I dropped it off. Then a few days later I get a statement that I owe more above the rental its self and putting gas in it before returning it! The bill was $42 extra. My thought would be they would take the $42 out of my account that day, isn't that why we give u a credit card number!! So today, a $72 charge was taken out of my account for U-Haul. No warning, emailed after the fact!! I will not be using U-Haul again because they do not tell you they will charge for other fees, 1/8 tank cost $18. Rip Off
Jennifer C.There was only two things that I had a problem with and that was the dog hair in the passenger seat. There was so much that it was visible at a glance. The cup holders were dirty. I not sure how often you all clean out the trucks but it should be after each and every customer. I understand that there might be a short time frame between each truck rental but someone should at least get in there and vacuum which could take least than 5 minutes. Other than that the customer service was great, five stars. But for my over all rating I would have to give a 2.5.

Samuel R.Uhaul service was awful. I'll never plan a move depending on uhaul. The truck wasn't available, the staff hired to load through the uhaul website quit weeks before our move. We scrambled in panic mode to find replacements. The trailer wasn't available and we were sent to a location 45 miles away to get it. The entire experience was stressful and resulted in missing personal commitments. This isn't the same uhaul I was raised to trust. Our friend canceled their uhaul truck after our experience.

Glenda W.This was by far the WORST experience I've ever had renting ANYTHING! The location unexpectedly decided to close early (no bad weather, no reason given) and told me I needed to use the app to pick up the truck… the app didn't work and wouldn't let me log in or create an account (it kept wanting to ‘verify me' and I had to ask for 3-4 emailed verification numbers and multiple text verification numbers… None of which the system recognized after it sent them to me (not sure how a system can send you verification numbers and not recognize what it just sent to you?!)! I called customer service and they told me I had to be on site to log in (didn't make sense, but ok, I went along with it), once I got on site it still didn't work (attempted multiple times again through my email & text - never worked)! The app was horrible & absolutely useless. I had to call the customer service number again. The lady I spoke with was nice; however, it still took me over 45 minutes, that I didn't have and they charged me for, to pick the truck up! If you're going to ask for all the personal information, ask for it up front so I'm not there having to find everything to fill out stupid useless forms. Despite filling out the forms when I scheduled the reservation. Everything was so much more difficult than it should have been! Not only that but the truck ended up not having a ramp which was the whole reason I wanted to rent the truck. There was no recourse to change trucks because of the app issue. The trucks have long bumpers which make it more difficult to load large heavy things over it without a ramp! How are you going to have a large moving truck without a RAMP?!?! AFTER advertising it as so on the website. Just overall a nightmare experience.

Bernie F.The truck was filthy. The mats inside were sticky and debris flew from the bed of the truck while driving. The pictures provided for damage comparison are old and do not show the level of damage the truck actually contained. The workers were great!
Tammi M.This truck was the only truck they had and it was beat up pretty bad said they received it that way looked like somebody took a ball bat to it. Also inside the cab was very dirty. Had to clean the windows inside in order to drive the vehicle safely. The employees where very professional and polite it was just shape of the truck and cleanliness m. Having said that I still would recommend renting from Uhaul.

Justus N.The vehicle was clearly not well taken care of. There was paper shoved into some of the AC fans preventing the AC from blowing correctly. The vehicle has some sort of oil pressure issue as when I was idling it would drop Oil PSI. I had to fill out all the information that I filled out online so what was even the purpose of doing it in the first place if it wasn't going to be given to the vendor???

Roberta N.Yes!! I got a very disturbing call this morning with serval attempts to reach me about a Dolly that I returned from the Sherwood store today. I rented a 6X12 trailer and a dolly on 8/10/22 and returned both on 8/11/22. The caller Mike asked if I returned the dolly. I'm not sure why I received the call and I'm very upset that I personally wheeled it back into the building before I went to the back of the building by the locked gate to put the 6X12 back!! Very bad business to me!! No need to respond back to me!! I just felt like someone needed to know!!!
