The experience with U-Haul started when my location of choice (Napa Seymour) was changed before pickup. I choose the location originally, because it is a business and there are humans working that you can discuss issues with if needed. The location that U-Haul assigned is a business, but no one was onsite. So, after getting the keys electronically, and discovering there was no moving accessories there was no one to walk u to and ask for them. The rented moving accessories were not provided, and I had to borrow items from a neighbor to use during our loading. When we arrived in the destination city, I went to the local U-Haul store to pick up the items. The young man loaned me the only utility dolly in stock. He did not have a furniture dolly. So, when I returned the truck and explained it to the young lady she says no problem. Then I receive a bill for a furniture dolly that was not provided and the lack of made our move more difficult. So, I should be billing U-Haul for not providing the equipment in the contract. It made me borrow items which cost use time. It made me go to the dealer to borrow one which cost time and fuel. So please just refund the money for your mistakes. I contacted the pickup location, via phone after receiving a bill for not returning an item. He says he did not provide any accessories because his information did not so anything other than a truck.

Christopher OI’ve spoke to the person that runs the place several times since I live close by and he’s an awesome guy! His shop dog is an absolute sweetheart too! They were closed at my drop off time but dropping off was super easy and there was plenty of parking to leave the equipment.

MARK KI paid for something online that was not available whenever I got to the location. I am disputing the charges on my account because I had to go buy those items at Walmart. I would not recommend buying items online whenever you are doing a reservation. Also, I found that returning my car carrier to another location was going to cost me an extended fee of $50. This was totally unacceptable because the nearest location was 2 miles away, and I could have returned it there. This cost me an additional $15, one way. Transparency is a premium in customer service. I would not recommend this service.
John MFirst off I think UHaul sucks. Had to do everything online when I requested counter service. Never heard of rideshare but was told I had to do it that way. The person from Smith's Garage Door wouldn't even help me. Took me well over an hour to actually pick it up. The truck kept revving up as I was driving it down the interstate. I had to put it in neutral to stop it from revving up. I will never rent from Uhaul again.

JAMES PI couldn’t get the key out of the box and then it didn’t have any gas in it so I had to pay to put gas in it and I couldn’t even put that anywhere on my contract so I am getting charged of that so I want someone to call me about this experience
Misty Ball the tires were low on air. we added air to all tires as the trailer was going from IN to CA. Also asked the receptionist if would be credited if trailer turned in early. Was told yes. Then told on back end would not be credited. That one way trips were a flat rate.

Mike Hbad pull to right on truck. drivers cab not very clean, trash form previous users. Had to clear snow from windshield that could have been done knowing the truck would be in use that day.
gregory mLet consumers know up front on availability. Picking up Uhaul in other towns is not only inconvenient to consumers but costly as well as gas and mileage reflect. This appears to happen quite often to enhance profit.
Steve MAll in all it was an excellent experience. The only issue I had was with the truck itself. It took awhile to change gears, not sure if transmission needs some work or what is going on with it. It got me from point a to point b and that is what matters. Thank you so much.

Glenda BGot to my destination and had completely lost the right light on the tow dolly.I called nearest U-Haul,spoke with numerous individuals and was told they could fix it the next morning or if I was not driving at night I could use HAND SIGNALS really HAND SIGNALS! So after I had to get an unplanned room for the night the only thing that worked out was the car was small enough you could still see the rear lights on my truck.By the time I got home the left light was hanging by its wires.
